Great rom! Great work. Only thing keeping me away from most AOSP/AOKP roms is the low call volume.

so far so good
been running this since last night. definitly smoothest AOSP rom i have ran so far! plus microphone works great and battery life is just as good if not better than touchwiz so far. on pace for 5 hrs screen on time which is about what i normally can get on touchwiz roms. literally the ONLY bug i can find is the camera and once thats fixed this will be golden. only AOSP rom i have stuck with and the dark theming/inverted gapps look soooo clean.
thanks alot for this!

I tried a few yesterday, but for the life of me, I couldn't find anything that was that close to the "stock" JB look. Most of the themes are just really tacky. So I was wondering if anybody here knew one offhand.

Hello there. I originaly made Frostmod for the og droid, but being that I recently got a nexus one, I thought i would bring it over here. Frostmod is gingerbread rom based on Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC1. I designed it to be highly customizable, and it has almost no native theming, so you can make it look the way you want. It includes my own app frostmod toolbox app which allows you to switch recoveries,launchers,boot animations, fonts, reboot, and will eventualy allow lower level system settings. this ROM also includes many extra theme options. In the theme manager you will find my frostmod theme which gives the device a nice blue look, and in the cyanogenmod lockscreen settings, you will find my frostmod lockscreen style. Bellow you will find the changelog, and many screen shots. . I hope you guys enjoy this. If you do please press the thanks button
Once you install go into the about settings menu, and click on the frostmod version. It will give you advice, the change log and more

Thanks goes to
cyanogenmod, for all of their amazing developent, hardwork, and because it is the base of my ROM.
Koush and Madmaxx82 for the recoveries used in my app.
Screen shots were taken with my theme frostmod locksreen style on, and ics clock font installed.

Hi, I tried CM9 on my Nexus One but found it is not good enough for daily use. CM7.2 RC1 seems good for me. I would like to give your ROM a try. Before that, I'd like to check with you that if a2sd or similar is supported by your ROM? Thanks.
Btw, is there anyway to implement MIUI style digital battery display on status bar, like MeDroid CM9 does? thanks.
Couple of things,
1) Can you offer a setting to get the torch to light up when long pressing home button on lockscreen?
2) Does this ROM come with DSPManager and other CM apps?
3) Can we use S2E (a2ext script that only works with CM)?
4) Is this just a straight port from the Droid or did you build it from scratch on our device?
Thanks.

It shouldn't be that hard. I could even add add it to frostmod toolbox so you could switch between aosp and miui camera.
This is definitely smooth and quite fast - have put it through the paces and no bugs.Thanks for the nice work, I'll be using this for my daily driver for a while!
its the only reason why i keep going back to use miui (just for the advanced camera features) this would be the perfect rom if it had that option

From what I understand this is based on aokp with cherry picks from cm and other sources along with a lot of there own mods. If this is wrong feel free to corect me. It has some themed aspects different from aosp plus the orange theme. If you like aokp and the color orange this is for you. I don't think this includes theme chooser.
This is tested and working.

try this:
create a nandroid and flash some cm10
im on sep 5th nightly. everything after that is kinda messed up.
also, a tip for anyone using this:
-go into settings/system/ font size and switch it to large or huge
-go into settings/ststem/ hardware keys and enable custom action
-change home key (long press) to no action since you have the recents button.
I agree, AOKP needs some PA/DPI love.
Anyone get this to work with AOKP yet?

not sure. i know for sure it will work with cm10.
as for aokp. i decompiled services.jar as well as android.policy.jar to see if i can make the changes on it. if i cant do it there, i have to make the changes before it gets compiled and will have to do more research. still new to this!
No longer developing this rom - Thread Closed - ws83
Hi guys welcome to Touchwiz AOKP.
This rom will be a bit interesting because it is based on AOKP but will contain a bunch of major parts from Samsung's official TouchWiz for the Samsung Galaxy S III. I was inspired to create this rom after seeing aalopez10's thread here talking about the TouchWiz launcher. I thought it might be kind of a fun project to create something for the Rezound that uses a lot of the nice TW elements. So thanks to aalopez10 for giving me an idea
As TW has always kind of caught my eye, I will be continuing development for this rom as long as possible. I plan on further themeing those elements in which I cannot just replace with actual TW parts, such as systemUI and framework parts.
Specs:
Based on AOKP Nightly 5 - Thanks Neo for the build
Linaro - Not sure who?
TouchWiz aspects - Samsung and aalopez10 for the launcher
GS3 live wallpapers including PhotoWall - see the screenshots above
GS3 Bootanimation
GS3 Ringtones, notifications and alarms
Latest updated Superuser
Bravia Engine
Snuzzo's Funky Kernel
Removed launcher2 and Nova Launcher
Unlike Neo, I have included cam Its based off of the one out of CM9
I have also included a special treat for yall
In my rom you will also the latest FULL version of my themechooser theme DarkSphere.
You will also find my WallpaperPlus app.
Bugs:
Not many widgets currently work, I thought I had them but in the actual fresh builds I couldn't get them to work.
Any other AOKP related bugs found in nightly 5.

I also own a Nexus 7, and I recently flashed a ROM (see link below if you own an N7) with the coolest animations (in/out) that I've ever seen on an Android device. I was able to create a flashable zip (tested on TWRP by myself, and confirmed working on CWM by multiple users) using the VillainTheme method that successfully adds these animations to the framework on our S4's. It should also work on any other device running 4.2.2, but I have only tested it on the S4.
EDIT: Here is a demo of the animations in action. Thanks to @123hiten for the video!
If you don't like them, download the restore zip below to restore your framework to its original state immediately prior to flashing this mod.
Installation Instructions
* Download the zip file: Penguin ROM N7 Animations Port
* Flash with TWRP
* Reboot
* Enjoy your new window animations!
Uninstall/Restore Instructions
* Download the framework restore zip file.
* Flash with TWRP
* Reboot
* You should now be back to your original framework that you had (any prior mods/edits included) prior to flashing the animations mod.
NOTE: I am not a developer, and in no way do I take credit for the animations themselves...I also obtained permission from the original ROM dev before sharing. See "Credits" below for links to the original developers' work that made this possible.

It should work on any device, although I haven't been able to test it on any Android version lower than 4.2.2. I didn't tweak anything in the animations themselves when I pulled them from the N7 framework, so the fact that it's working on TouchWiz at all should be a good indicator of its universal compatibility
And honestly I'm not even 100% sure that it HAS to be 4.2.2 (not sure if source has been released yet for the S3?)...as I said, I have no way of testing it on any lower versions so I didn't want to attest to it working on anything else. Worst case scenario and she bootloops, just flash the framework restore zip in the OP and she'll be right as rain :good:

Good question, but nope it shouldn't make a difference. In fact, I flashed the exact same zip on PA 3.6 on my N7, and it worked perfectly
And I'm with you on TouchWiz man, it's amazing how far the amazing devs on here have taken it - it's gotten to the point that pretty much every aesthetic reason for me wanting to stick with AOSP on my old Note has now been implemented on TouchWiz - so I run nothing but that now on my S4.
