Do you kown something about this phone?
Bought it!
It does 4131 with ANtutu benchmark, which is better then HTC Sensation.
The materials are not very good, but is still a good quality.
The UI personalizations are light and very confortable.
Anything else? later! Bye!

Hello fellow XDA-ers
I was looking around on the internet, and I found this:

Pantech's SMP-301 "SKY the Player"
A relatively unknown PMP, that never made it past Korea, made by Pantech. Based on that site, the player comes with 32 GB Internal Memory, a 3.7" 480x800 AMOLED display, and from small research, I hear it's capable of 1080p video playback without conversion.
There's one thing which I feel is a let down to this device though, and it's got Android 2.1 Eclair on it, and I have tried to look for developments for this device and found none.
My question is this, do any of you know of android developments for this device, if not, based on experience and perhaps knowledge, how difficult would it be to port a Gingerbread, if not ICS Build on the device? I'm thinking a good starting point would be to work from other developments on Pantech devices already.
Thoughts guys? :O

I want to buy this phone, but should I? I don't have much money, and I want double sim support. Found this thinner one.
The question is, what produce it, is there any official site/roms for it? Or any reviews?
Thanks
(if this is the wrong space, please tell me where or move it!)
Its look a like imo discovery s88 in indonesia
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
Its the Star L21 china mobile. Specs seem decent enough.
Comes with a spare battery which is not unusual for a china made phone.
Not sure if there is any official site for it.
For reviews search Google for "Star L21 android dual sim phone"
Star L21, nice
Thanks.
Too bad there's no official page
hi there,
I just noticed something weird with my china phone (Cubot One - MT6589 1GB RAM), its UI is not as smooth as most jellybean droids.
the UI is always capped at 30-31 fps. i find it kinda weird, because i got a low end LG phone (piece of crap), and it just happens to render UI at 60 fps!.
when my phone first arrived, i remember it would only get kinda smooth when it got hot from playing games, then as it cooled down it wasn't smooth any more. So i flashed an updated ROM from the manufacturer's website hoping it would solve it; it didn't, and even worse, it will no longer get smooth under heavy apps. :/
is there anything i can do to make it render at 60fps? build.prop edit, init.d script, some file editing??
i'm including a couple 'shots.

Into a single .img or .ius file to be able to burn an SD Card for manual factory resetting a tablet with a Elink_MR706_D3V6 board. I know you can create a template with IUW but I don't know about commands, codes, memory addresses and that stuff.
I bricked a Quo Blaze 3G tablet, which is based on a elink_MR_706_D3_V6 board with a MT8312 CPU (A9 @1.2GHZ Dual Core), Kingston DDR3 RAM 1GB, Dual Sim (3G - GSM), front/back camera (0.5 MP - 2 MP) and Android 4.2.
The tablet is completely dead, it won't be recognized by the computer, you can't charge it. I checked the current battery power and it is still charged (2.93 v / 3.7 v) so I can make a miracle happen with a compatible sdcard-burnable firmware.
Thanks in advance!
