What kernel are you running and what's your Setting?
I ran perseus, saber but ultimately came back to stock, a kernel isnt really needed unless youre running those useless benchmark apps

Does it matter if it has a kernal? Aren't they interchangeable? they were on the s3.
I would strongly advise against it for now. Let the dust settle a bit before doing something like that. In a week tops you'll have some good information out there on what your options are when it comes to ROMs.

i agree with DaRkL3AD3R modules need to be switched to make sure we have no issues, at the most i say wait till monday and we might even have parinoid android
You need a lot more than just modules and libs changed most likely. I know it is a world phone, but odds are, you are going to need framework changes as well to get them to work. If you don't know how to test, then don't flash it. Wait until someone that knows how to at least debug things tries it before testing yourself and turning your phone into a paperweight.

I'm looking for a stock kernal that can be overclocked. I want to play around with ktweaker and do a little overclocking. Or even a good modified. I am currently running clean mod ROM.

I've been running Scotts DMC ROM for a while now. I see that there are some ROMs out that are based off DMF.
The little research I did said that this is a Portuguese ROM ( I guess).
Are there any known benefits/issues with the DMF base?
Thanks,
Matt
Something I've found out about DMF2, and why im staying away from it.

Does this affect custom roms built on dmf2? Dunno, but why risk it.

I would bet good money that anything to do with modifying the EFS partition is ripped out of the ROMs for our phone, it wouldn't make sense to leave that in there.

I seem to recall, at least in my mind, there is a kernel for Note 2 that would allow one to overclock the CPU to 2.0ghz. I'm running Sabre kernel on Jellybeans v21 which only goes as high as 1.92ghz. Was I dreaming or does a kernel exist?

I know there are for AOSP roms, I'm not sure for TW roms.

Devil kernel works on both TW & AOSP, it allows you to OC to 2.0ghz.

it is possible, but not recommended. 2.0ghz on this processor is silly for anything other than benchmarking.
