Edit.
Solved really simple actually for everyone that wants to know. All you have to do is go to widgets and put the LTEone on your phone once their you see its off click it then go to venom tweaks misc phone info then it has LTE.

I wish HTC would have handled the menu for legacy apps and multitasking in the HTC EVO LTE like they did on the Desire C. Maybe we can get this ported?

I emailed htc about the menu button and they said thank you for your suggestion and that they dont have any info about it coming to the evo lte.

I use the menu button more often than I so recent apps.
If your rooted, just remap recent apps to menu like most custom roms already do.

A Rom dump would help.

I have it remapped, just think this is the way they should have done it on the LTE

Hopefully its available soon so devs can see what they can do
So I clearly have the HTC One X+ and when i have this rom ( flashed, when i check the phone identity it says that it is an HTC One XL. I'm pretty sure this is also making it so i cannot download some apps and games. For example i cant download Ruzzle on my current phone, but i can on my sh***y Atrix 4G anyone know what the problem is?
i have att with venom, my id is one xl, and I can download ruzzle.

Just a heads up on any other problems...post them in the Rom's thread. You will most likely get more help.

That is just the Developer Preview. I am thinking about trying it out on my Nexus 7. Maybe we can try porting it when the full release gets here. But I think they delayed that till 2014.
I'd be curious if we could port sooner. Looking at the list here (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Devices#Work_in_progress) there appear to be quite a few other devices namely HTC One variants and VZW SGIII

We could probably get it working without too much trouble. The big issue is that nothing would work. GSM calling and SMS are working, but CDMA and LTE aren't and there's no mobile data support at all. It's just not worth it at this point unless you want to start writing apps.

Hey,
Im running Renovate 1.0 on my ATT One, but LTE not showing up. I flashed a simple mod and got an "Unfortunately, HTC Sence has stopped" error no matter what I did.
I flashed Renovate 1.0 and it got my phone to a useable state. Im an idiot and did not do a backup before flashing crap.
Now, I need a ROM that is useable with ATT LTE?
Is there a good one or simply a radio I can flash? Is Renovate LTE compatible and Im missing it?
HELLLLPPPPP
Thanks
After searching through the settings the "Preferred network mode" has "GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto" in the menu. So I assume its supported and just not working for me at the moment.
International roms won't have an lte logo. But you still are getting an lte connection.

I'm going to be replacing a broken HTC One X with an HTC One.
Since they are the same 'full price', does it make a difference whether to go with either in terms of ease of rootability/unlocking/custom roms?
I suppose if it doesn't matter, i'll go AT&T for the black case pref....
I'd go for the at&t version

I am using black ATT version and can always choose sense or google edition rom
I keep nandroid backup for both rom

I had the same choice, and I would personally recommend the AT&T version. I find that the AT&T stock ROMs give me incredible battery life, and Sense has come a long way since I last used it on the HTC Incredible
You can't go wrong with either though, this phone is a HUGE upgrade from the One X.
