IF a nokia lumia 920 is flashed for a different firmware ( Originally from ATT and flashed to Rogers) will the phone get unlocked?If not is there a way to wipe out the phone and reload a new firmware that is unlocked?

I got a first production line Lumia 920 (PRTP) loaded with ATT stuff. I want to know if I can flash it with another Firmware (it comes with a rm820 and want to switch to rm821). I have tried done with both RMs trying to move to the most recent OS version. But it does not allow me to do it as it gives me errors with both of them. What's next on the list to try?
I got a Nokia lumia 710 during a Christmas present drive for charity. I tried to unlock this lumia so that I can used it oversea. I contacted T-mobile and the customer services placed a request with manufacturer for the unlock code. 2 days later, I was told that it cannot provide me the sim unlock code.
How could I do sim unlock on this phone?
I have upgraded the rom from 7.8. Can I download the boot loader to qualcomm and reflash it to 7.8?

i think you need atf box to sim unlock your lumia 710.
but i'm not 100% shure.
Hi, it may be too late, but I just did this myself and it worked like a charm. All I did was follow the steps on this guide. The whole process took a minute or so.
All you need is the Qualcomm bootloader. I had the "Issue #1" that was mentioned, but the solution that was provided worked fine for me. Once the phone booted up, I just put in my new SIM card (the one that needs the unlock to work) and entered "00000000" and it worked perfectly.
Hello! Recently there has been a talk about a certificate for a bootloader for lumia 800... As I understood, it is supposed to be an obsl file, and 11501 firmware in navifirm has it, and as I remember it was supposed to have quallcomm bootloader, right? Can it be the file we need?
I have just got my lumia 800, I have been reading pages and pages on disabling it. Even updating to 7.8
I read on here that you can't do it unless you have full registry access? But I was wondering if flashing it to a different firmware would give me the ability to do so? I was thinking of the Clean ROM Stock version like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2058498
I have the Unlocked Vodapone version if this matters.
You can install on your phone any OFFICIAL ROM with Nokia Care Suite but you won't be able to change anything in registry, so you have to check if you have Bootloader unlocked or not, if not - you can't do anything with registry and you will have to unlock your phone (Bootloader i mean).

I have qualcomm bottloader ( not now ) of lumia 800. I restore Nokia DLOAD from qualcomm successfull but phone does not boot even not vibrates.
I tried nokia care suite for dead phone flashing but always says CONNECTION LOST TO DEVICE .
How can i recover bootloader or flash a ROM ?
