Hello,
i just got my Sgs3 and i flashed the latest official firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646610
also rooted and flashed CWM.
I would like to change my CSC but all CSCs included in the rom are meant for Asia.
Where can i download the EUR csc ?
Then i guess the process remains the same : flash via odin and it will wipe my device.
My phone had these before flashing:
ap: i9300xxella
cp: i9300bolk3
csc: i9300cosll1
Thanks in advance.

You can downgrade but why upgrade if you are going to downgrade .
CSC is only Country specific network settings they can be entered manually .

How to update the firmware on GT-I9300 SEB region as I can see new firmwares are added almost every day, but until now no official release through kies (nor unofficial firmware release for my region if I understand correctly as I'm new here)
What are my options?

You are correct.
You can manually flash updated firmware from other regions here:
[Guide+ROMS]Odin Flash+Root Guide & Stock Firmwares LE4/6/8/9/F/D, LF1/2
samfirmware.com
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9300
Learn to use Odin and forget KIES, it's crap

So, if i want to flash firmware from other region does I need to change CSC code (now SEB -> other)?
Hi all,
Sorry for my bad English but I will try to communicate.
I bought a samsung S3 naked in Switzerland.
I flashed a custom rom and then install.
I wanted to return to the original rom that is on the site Samefrimwares
The problem is that on your website, in the CSC section, I did not find the CSC "AUT" of the Swiss rom. I remain blocked on "KOR".
Does anyone by chance have the CSC "AUT" I could flash ? Or should I wait it out?
Thank you in advance for your reply.
nstructions For Changing CSC:
Download Samsung Galaxy S / S2 CSC app from the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manniakk.cscselector&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5tYW5uaWFray5jc2NzZWxlY3RvciJd
Open Samsung Galaxy S / S2 CSC app
Tap "Change CSC" button
Select the CSC for you Country
Tap "Install" button (Keep in mind changing CSC wipes your device)
OK, I do a mistake when I fash fresh stock rom. Forget to full wipe before new Flash.
Hello,
I have the same issues. I try to have my s3 stock.
What I do for that is Flash via odin single file official firmware and csc stay OTA
I also try to install omega firmware and no luck AUT is not inside
Now I try to get AUT file to Flash in cwm recovery
Or somebody can give me official Switzerland firmware in 3 parts?
The firmware and csc I try to have is :
GT-I9300 Galaxy S III
PDA: I9300XXEMG4
CSC: I9300AUTEMG2
MODEM: I9300XXEMG4

Hi all wondering if anyone can help, by telling me wich version of 4.1.2 I can use to reflash my phone.
I am currently running 4.1.1 on an unbranded S3 that I bought from Amazon.
Details are as follows:
AP: I9300XXDLJ4
CP: I9300XXDLID
CSC: Unknown
Would I use the BTU version that is available on Sammobile?
I know how to flash using Odin, but am unsure as to which file I need with my phone being Unbranded. I prefer using Odin so I can factory reset first and start clean with an update.
Thanks in advance

Yes use the 4.1.2 BTU version from sammobile.
I9300XXELL4
Your phone will stay unbranded.
I found out that i've got an Austrian (A1) Galaxy S9+ (which I bought here in the Netherlands via a webshop)
I'd like to change my firmware to a stock Dutch firmware, which is currently at Android 9.
At the moment i'm on (A1):
BL: G965FXXS2BRK3
AP: G965FXXS2BRK3
CP: G965FXXS2BRK3
CSC: G965FOXM2BRJ3
The Dutch firmware:
BL: G965FXXU2CRLI
AP: G965FXXU2CRLI
CP: G965FXXU2CRLI
CSC: G965FOXM2CRLI
Can I use Odin v3.13.1 for just flashing AP, or do I need everything from above? (BL, CP and CSC).
Also, i'd like to keep my data. I've read that you must use home_csc, but i'm not too sure.
Could you guys help me out?

Yes u can use Odin v3. 13.1 for flashing and I suggest u do everything except when u get to CSC stop thr.. Select HOME-CSC IF U WANT TO SAVE UR DATA OR ONLY CSC IF U DON'T WANT U! IT'S BETTER U DO A FRESH INSTALLATION THO!
