When I send an email from my Note 2 that contains a web link, the recipient's email shows the link as text and not a hyperlink. I did not have this problem when I had my Thunderbolt (from 4 days ago). Does anyone know of a setting on the Note 2 that will send the link correctly?
Which email app? Gmail? I just tried and it worked fine.
Just tried it in the default mail app also, works fine.
The stock email app on the phone, not gmail.
Default works too.

I've just picked up my Vibrant 2 days ago and updated it through Kies to the latest version. Says 2.2 FROYO.UVKA6 in the menu.
Had 2 Yahoo email addresses setup and 1 Gmail account. The Gmail was setup in the e-mail app as well as the native Gmail app.
Now I had been replying to a friend a couple of times, from my Gmail account (probably from the e-mail app). After a while I got some replies back, with the same subject as the emails I'd replied to, but what he received where random emails from my Yahoo inbox!!
Of course I removed the Yahoo accounts right away, but does anyone know about this problem, and what can I do about it?

I'm having problem with my Mail on HTC evo 3D.
I got 2 mail accounts signed on it (hotmail and my work mail)
Everytime he sync with server he download all attachments from all mails, and after 24hrs I got like 3000 files... Like 500x attachment from mail one, 500x attachment from mail 2, and so on... every mail that has attachment he make a copy of attachment everytime it sync mail.

same problem! I had like 2000 file attachements lol
Try having all your emails forwarded to your gmail account then you wont have to worry about it.

I got that already, but I got a need to replay or write new mail from time to time via my work mail.

there is an option in gmail that allows you to send out emails from your linked accounts.
say you have an email come in that was addressed to your work address you can set gmail to automatically use that address when replying.
you also will get a drop down menu when sending out emails to choose what email address you want to use.
this feature is also in the gmail app but you need to set this up in gmail through your browser.
you will find it in settings.

I can only see new emails if I open the application and manually sync, the new emails are not being pushed to the phone even thoguh I have Yahoo set to check every 5 mins and Hotmail to use push email.
Push email works fine if I install K9 email but the stock email doesn't even show new mails in the notification bar. Anyone know what the problem is?
This P780 is a great phone but quite buggy

Using Stock ROW 119 firmware with baseband S820 v51.
I have had my phone setup using g this for as long as I can remember. Yet today when I went to reply to an email it failed. I can receive mail fine but cannot send any
Anyone else using this setup still able to send mail?

By set up do you mean you are using the Gmail account that the phone sync's your contacts? Or, do you have a separate Gmail account? I run a Gmail account to sync the device, and a Cloud Magic App to run my Hotmail account. I tried them both and they are working fine. Before you start changing things, do you have another email account either on the phone, or one that can be installed on the device to check and see if that works first? Maybe there is a problem with Sprint?
Hi all, I have 4 accounts in my mail. I need a simple light client that works like mail on iPhone (where you can see the unread folder for all the 4 accounts altogether).
Moreover, the Gmail app and the stock mail app you found in the phone both receive mails only when you refresh the app itself or very late from when your account actually received the mail.
Is there a solution?

For 7 email accounts, I was using Newton, paid for two years. Now i am using Email from Edison Software. I am sure you can find them from play store. Both of them are working fine to me.
The only flaw is Email from Edison Software doesn't support rich text signature. I sent an email to developer about 1 year ago request this feature. They promised they are working on it.
I've just switched to outlook.
It brings all of my Gmail accounts emails perfectly including the spam into outlooks spam folder.
It also let's you move received emails into your separate folders.
You can import your Google calendar.
And it does exactly what you want and shows all email accounts on the same page.
