Nokia Wireless Charging Stand NFC - HTC Droid DNA

Hi
Does anyone know how i do make NFC working between Nokia Wireless Charging Stand and Droid DNA? I have heard that the stand as built in nfc tags and all you need it an nfc application on the phone to write to the tag on the stand, so you can open an application when you put the phone on the stand?
Has anyone done it or can help set it up?

Has anyone found a way to program the nfc tag in this charger with their DNA? I got one for Christmas, but want to make sure I can use the NFC portion of the charger or I'll just return it for another charger.
Thanks

Do you mean the OEM one or one of the inserts? Many (most?) of the inserts block (or at least hamper) NFC. I have the OEM back and I think it works BETTER than the battery antenna. I used it at the cafeteria at work and it picked up from about a 1/2 inch away through a case.
Edit: also, there is a massive thread in the accessories section (wireless chargers and cases) that discusses this ad nauseum.
The OEM back from Verizon. I am talking about physically putting the nfc sticker on the charger itself. It scans fine when not on charger but I stuck it on the charger and it doesnt read :S

The consensus is that it probably won't work without doing some kind of modification with cases.

NFC Antenna heads up.

For those who use NFC and didn't know, the antenna is built in to the battery in the Mega as it is in other devices from Samsung. I'd been using an aftermarket battery in mine and couldn't understand why I could not pick up any NFC tags or devices. If for any reason you need to replace your battery make sure it says 'Near Field Communication' on the new one.

Enable NFC Action? - Suggestions?

i purchased the Air Dock 2 and it has an NFC chip in it which did bring up my NFC icon when i touched but how do i utilize it? i only see pay options in Settings.
what i would like is to have the dock activate this Dock and Drive app when its placed on NFC tagged dock.
i did see "nfc trigger" apps in Play but so many and dont like just installing any app and not sure its needed?
thanks for any help
Try this. Step-by-step configuration and ability to write NFC tag.
Unfotunately, in my case, AirDock with charger power ON blocked NFC. Maybe you will be more lucky with it.

so with a 10 minutes test i found 2 things:
1. the position of the NFC and the Wireless charging (at least with my ultraslim case) is particular to how the Air Dock is positioned so when i found the sweet spot for both i locked it so that my phone works perfectly in landscape mode which is how i want it when driving. if you test NFC response and charge connection by taking it on and off a bunch you will see what i mean and i found it easier to test in portrait mode and then turn the dock and lock it to be same but landscape. hope that made sense
2. i did see a charging issue but i did not spend much time seeing if i could figure it out and decided to test a BT connection to my truck radio as the trigger versus the NFC and that seemed to work perfectly
will test more and report when i get a chance

[Q] Qi wireless charging for D620(Europe) possible??

hi, I have European version D620 for my girlfriend, incl. a NFC chip, attached to the inside of the back cover. So it has 2 contacts in the phone that connect to that. We do not use NFC at this point, would prefer Qi Wireless charging... would putting in a Qi wireless charger foil connected to those 2 contacts instead of the NFC chip do the trick? Would it be something LG would have need to have built in, or would it be recognized by Android? This D620 has Android 4.4, my Nexus 5 had that too.... Concerning the Nexus 5, hardly anywhere it's mentioned that it is compatible with Qi wireless charging, , but I would not want a phone without it anymore.... (now with the S6 having it standard it will come to life i'm sure!!)
Any technician who would now the answer??
I'm thinking of buying a Samsung NOTE 2 compatible foil for a couple of dollars, put it in and and just give it a try...( I checked for the size, should be able to fit it in easily, hopefully it will not be too thick...
thanks in advance,
Wil
nice idea, but it won't work, i'm pretty sure. charging doesn't work with any two contacts you have on your phone especially if they're designed for something that runs on low power like nfc. it's the same as if you would try to take out the ir blaster diode and use it's two contacts to charge the phone... that's why there is a usb port on the bottom of the phone
