Yeah I did and thanks... I had to add something else to the soft key mod, Cuz otherwise the mod would if been just to small for a flashablezip to just flash so I added beats to it...

Any chance I can get the beats audio and not the soft keys?

Yess I'll add the mod or if you have winrar, just open my mod up direct yourself to the system folder and delete build.prop. close it, transfer to your phone and flash...
I have more mods to come and I'll have a zip that removes mods too

Re: [MOD] CM10 Beats Audio and Nexus 4 Soft Keys
Thanks for bringing this to the community. I can confirm Beats Audio works on cm but I had already previously installed it myself so I can not speak for your files but I'm assuming its the same differences.

It shows the soft keys on screen, similar to this:
http://www.droid-life.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/galaxy-nexus-soft-keys.jpg
Although I don't know why you would want soft keys when we have the dedicated hardware keys.
---------- Post added at 01:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:47 PM ----------
Should I be seeing a beats icon in the status bar like I used to?

Ill look into anding another software key like search.... I prefer soft keys so they hardware keys don't always get hammered... And no, the beats icon won't show but if you go to the awesome beats app while music is playing and enable beats you'll here the difference

Re: [MOD] CM10 Beats Audio and Nexus 4 Soft Keys
Hmm...That seems pointless if we already have dedicated keys. Especially since we can change their actions on cm10

Weird I don't seem to hear any difference. I removed the build.prop file cause I didn't want the soft keys and then I just flashed like regular. It removed DSP Manager and now it's "awesome beats." But I don't really hear much of a difference. I'm not using the music player though, im using Pandora, I don't know if that would make a difference. Beats used to work with Pandora on sense though soo...

Some might seem like its pointless but its not. Because what would you do if your hardware keys stop working and had no replacement phone.....I use the so I don't constantly use my hardware ones..... Like I said I just brought a mod over.

Lol sorry but never had hardware keys go bad. If they did I'd just get a new phone under warranty, go back to my Inc 2 or get a new phone. With all my android phones I've never had hardware keys stop working. And this screen is already too small to have those take up more real estate. Others might like it but not my cup of tea.

Bringing Life To The " Vivid, Incredible 4g, One XV "... Oh yeah.!!

So I have been doing some reading and I think I may know what the problem is. I am currently using TWRP recovery, I was reading in another thread that moving zip files to your sd card while in recovery could cause problems. That's exactly what I did, so I am going to retry these and come back with results.

Even though this is still a beta version it runs incredibly well. The only reason it is still a beta version is that I believe that a release should be perfect before it gets called a Release Candidate. You must be currently running Ics or you need to flash the Ruu first before installing!
Important! Beta 3.2.2 has a couple of issues still and is more of a preview of RC1! The signal bars don't display your signal strength. Further updates will come in the form of OTA updates. (see below)
Downloads
Fourth Bar Jellybean Fusion Beta 3.2
Updates
Fourth Bar Jellybean Fusion Beta 3.2.2Don't system wipe
Extras
Jellybean Lockscreen
(Causes Multi-touch issues)

Features:
Built on Ice Cream Sandwich | Stock Base - 2.14.531.3_R2
OTA Updater
Android 4.1 Launcher
Google Now!
Google Ears
Jellybean Boot Animation
Superuser Access
Speed Tweaks
Senseless
AOSP Jellybean Themed
AOSP Jellybean Ringtones and Notifications
AOSP Apps
Issues:
Have to pick widget twice (Use Apex or Nova Launcher if this bothers you... I do!)
Signal bars don't display the signal strength
Wifi Calling permanently off
Installation:
You must have Ics already running on your Phone!
Always Backup First!
Complete Wipe of System and Both Caches
Flash in Recovery
Getting Further Updates:
You will now find an app called OTA updater.
I'm still experimenting with it and if it doesn't work well I may eventually just remove it.
To update, open app and it will check if there are any updates.
If there are updates it will download them, reboot, and install.
If it doesn't reboot automatically, just reboot manually into your recovery and it will install.

The HTC camera is a little better in terms of features... But Camera Ics (in the rom) has a couple good additional features that make it at least a little bit better than the stock Aosp camera.

I think what's really driving me crazy is the big black section where the on screen camera button is. It takes up like 1/3of the screen and makes it feel like I'm using the instagram camera.
Ok so I've seen some conflicting reports, does this have wifi calling in it or not? I know this is supposed to be as aosp as possible, but it's a nice feature to have and I would assume it would be included if t-mobile ever had a good aosp phone...so I just want to be sure.

Jeez folks, you can easily customize any ROM to your preference by installing the cam app (calender, calculator, mms) of your choice, Craig kinda makes it clear what his objective is in the ROM's he creates, then we take it from there

Ya, it is different. I'll probably make a utility add on that will let you tweak it to your liking. I'll be sure to include the Sense camera

It doesn't have wifi calling right now. Its been removed completely because the Aosp settings don't allow you to turn it on and off. I'll add an option in the utility to permanently turn in back on though.

True! But even just a year ago I had no idea how to customize apps so I get that some people just accept whatever is in a Rom.

Has anyone seen issues with the phone not roaming properly? Previous ICS base roms would let me know that I was roaming and allow me to turn off my mobile data. But this one seems to let it keep running. It also can't seem to detect my Wind Away network (roaming network). Anyone else on WIND see this issue? I'm not sure what happens with another carriers roaming networks.
Absolutely awesome work!
Has anyone noticed that the battery dies quickly

Maybe Dumb nOOb Question
Although i can succesfully run others programs to mod/open up device abilities, i am far from understanding what actually goes into creating any of it from roms, to themes, to jailbreaks..and so on, talk of code and algorythms make me glaze over like a kid in high school hung over from the night before. I absolutely love the REDCLEAN.zip full red theme you did for 3.5, will you be blessing us with full themes, and if so, again i am clueless, how long would/will it be to develop something like that? Everyone i show, says how cool it is and ask where they can buy it,or is it on google play, i do inform them they appreciate donations! lol, i tell them all to go to xda and read. Anyways i appreciate the time and effort you put into these mods, but as roms constanly change, the themes and mods do to, from the looks of it you must love it, as you are most thanked and keep up on the stuff quickly, and i don't want to upset you by asking when, but if you cringe at my post i understand if you dont answer the nagging kid at heart. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

Most likely won't be too many full themes until they're are more themers over in this section. There are 2 more now making themes so hopefully well see alot, they both do nice work. But I do plan on keeping my minithemes updated to the latest cleanrom version. I like offering more choices of color over doing full themes. Plus with me constantly working on the framework it themes more and more. Maybe when they are done I can start adding more apps. But I'm glad you guys enjoy my work and I will continue to theme this device like crazy

Are the toggle colors and status bar colors supposed to be exactly the same or slightly different in the ICS theme? Even the signal looks slightly off from the battery and clock in the status bar... Just wondering... Great work updating to 4.0!!!

Hi mocha hey I found a themer to do the 1% circle battery I don't know how hard or if this will work on your theme (not putting the circle battery in but to modify the SystemUI ) but I couldn't get the 1% battery to update the right % so this is what she told me I don't know if you could do this so next time all I have to do is flash her icon and it will work down below is what she told me and had to do to the SystemUI thanks so much this is her link too http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2053075
you should be good to go now. The theme was missing the 1 percent battery xml's like I figured so when you flashed it, it wiped out the xml's from my SystemUI. Let me know how it goes.

I know that one theme I would like to see is something that changes the phone icon from the green box to the blue phone that's on a diagonal with no box around it, as well as the sms icon that has the on it instead of the envelope, as I am always confusing the SMS messages with my gmail because the shapes are so similar. That is probably the only thing I like about Beans ROM over CleanROM but I'm definitely a CleanROM guy overall.

First off, I am not responsible for the creation of this rom, I have only built it for the jewel, please give thanks to the original creator bajee11, original thread here
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

This is an initial release, much much more to come. I will be implementing all LOTK tweaks and mods and framework tweaks, as well as some optimizations I have been learning/working to accomplish. I am also putting in a pull request to the Root-Box git to add all .mk and config files so you can build this too.

Awesome to see you working on this. Since last night I've been running root-box from another dev. But just noticed trying to use any music app completely locks up device. Requiring battery pull (simulation).
Have you tested this build?
Also, I just noticed I can't find a place to change DPI in any of the settings. Am I just missing it, have you seen it?
Usually it's in ROM control>general UI and scroll all the way to bottom.

Not sure on the hard keys, have you tried enabling custom actions in hardware key setting in rootbox settings, then setting them to no action? As for the number of home screens, I dont believe there is a setting for it. Try a third party launcher.

This ROM has been in development for about a month, and sweat and blood have been put into it. This ROM's name is taken from Dragon Ball Z, and named after Goku's Kaioken attack. (Don't ask me why I didn't name it Super Saiyan Rom, this name fits in perfectly!)
This Rom is completely stable, it was built to be themed red, and to have good battery life and compete with the battery life of Speed Rom, Fourth Bar Infusion, and to alleviate the battery life problems on the HTC Amaze 4g. TRY IT OUT!
If you don't understand the name, don't worry about it, I didn't think many people would get the reference, oh well.
Well over 550MB RAM on the second boot.

Yeah I just wish I started earlier.
I also wish people here who haven't tried should make roms and help bring the dev section back in business since you, me, and a few others are only left.
There are definitely people here on the amaze sections that have the talent and intelligence to make something here.
Oh guys don't forget, when you flash give me some feedback on if you like it (you damn well better lol), and what should I include and improve. If there is an issue tell me and thorough explain, maybe include a log cat and I will try to fix but bear with me I am a noob at developing but i have debugged a recocery.log and fixed stuff before so how hard can it be?
