Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

This is an initial release, much much more to come. I will be implementing all LOTK tweaks and mods and framework tweaks, as well as some optimizations I have been learning/working to accomplish. I am also putting in a pull request to the Root-Box git to add all .mk and config files so you can build this too.

Awesome to see you working on this. Since last night I've been running root-box from another dev. But just noticed trying to use any music app completely locks up device. Requiring battery pull (simulation).
Have you tested this build?
Also, I just noticed I can't find a place to change DPI in any of the settings. Am I just missing it, have you seen it?
Usually it's in ROM control>general UI and scroll all the way to bottom.

I tried the other root box ROM on mik mik and have tried urs as well but seems like with root box in general you can't change the options on the pie settings was wondering if there was a way it could be implemented? Thanks so much for your work, ur ROMs are just crazy good!

No worries, I suppose some guys wouldnt want a link to another rom in their thread, but me, I'm good with it. Options are good mkay.

Not sure on the hard keys, have you tried enabling custom actions in hardware key setting in rootbox settings, then setting them to no action? As for the number of home screens, I dont believe there is a setting for it. Try a third party launcher.

This Rom kicks ass. I had been quitely downloding the builds posted on dev host and is f*cling awesome.
