[Q] Is My tablet Unrecoverable? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So my friend attempted my pattern till it was locked out. i am entering the usernames and password correctly but it says invalid, i am guessing it was because of the lack of the wifi. So i turned to factory reset. but my tablet ( chineese brand. Sanei n77) would not boot to the recovery mode. i tried power + volume (+ and -) with no luck. So i decided to use ADB. but turns out USB Debugging isn't enabled. So the option to do it through ADB also fails.
So what should i do? Any directions from here?
Thanks for any suggestion.

I think you should send it to the manufacturer or to the store so they can do a factory reset. Googled about how to boot into recovery mode on your tablet, but found nothing.
Good luck

LG Escape running 4.1.2
here is the progression of events:
1. rooted device
2. root seemed successful and no malfunctions
3. backed up all apps and system data with Titanium backup
4. the lg escape has no way to unlock the bootloader, so I tried various other methods. one of which was entering recovery mode via terminal commands. this is basically a hard reset, and it wiped all my data
5. I restored all my apps and data from my external sd card with titanium
My best guess is this is where something went wrong
6. upon restoration it prompted me to reboot the device
7. reboot passes manufacturer logo, but resets when AT$T logo appears
8. as stated earlier, there is no way to enter recovery mode during boot.
9. there is a hard reset during boot, but mine will not work, as it requires touching buttons which do not seem to be active in my stage of the boot sequence
so, I understand this does NOT mean my phone is bricked, but I don't know how else to get it to boot back up, or what is even causing the boot loop, as I DO NOT HAVE ANY CUSTOM ROMS flashed. any help here is very appreciated!
EDIT: so I have attempted to use adb on my pc to reboot into recovery from there, but it occurred to me that while I was in recovery the first time, I never checked "usb debugging". as a result my adb console commands cant even see my device. any way to turn on usb debugging while locked in a boot loop?
also, I can get it to enter download mode. I was hoping I could just reflash the firmware to it without needing to enable usb debugging, but have no clue how to do that while locked out of the phone.
I realize this is a very specialized set of questions, but it is necessary to ask here as the most people will see it. im open to any ideas

i have now tried to flash the firmware while in download mode using a less than legitimately obtained lg R&D tool. however, i need V10F_00.kdz and i am facing a bit of censorship. any kind soul willing to host this file on dropbox or similar so i can download it?
Usually devices have a button combination to press when powering on to get into different modes. Maybe try searching for the button combination of your phone on Google? Try ' lg escape button recovery ' ?

[Q]DigiLand DL1010Q softbricked

Ok, here is the deal and I hope someone can help me. I have a cheap DigiLand DL1010Q tablet to play around with. It is stock, but I rooted it with KingRoot. There was a recent OTA wireless update and after it was installed it said that it needed to go into recovery mode to install and reboot. I selected install now and reboot. This is where my problem started and has remained. It loaded into recovery mode and is in an endless boot loop. I've tried rebooting it, recovery with the recovery file and every manual reset possible to no avail. DigiLand support said that I should power down the tablet, and while holding down the Volume Down (-) hit the power button and it will boot into a Chinese recovery mode. I've tried that and it just stays on the DigiLand screen forever. (I left it there for 8 hours.) I can sideload via ADB and the drivers are installed, but it will not let me load anything. It states that the bootloader is closed. I receive the same message via Fastboot. Now here is the interesting thing. Even after selecting the factory reset within the Recovery Mode, everything is still there. I have wiped the cache and partition and user data, but nothing really happens. It is still all there. I see the recovery file, but it will not load. All I see is NO Command.
I do have a sd card that I could flash things on, but it doesn't seem to register the card. It sees the sdcard, but that is the internal drive. How do I get it to look at the sdcard that I put into the slot? Is there a bootloader unlock? Does anyone have the factory image that I can put on my sdcard? HELP!!!!
I am fairly good with computers and have rooted phones and tablets before, but I seem to be hitting my head on a bricked wall - no pun intended. Let me know what programs, files or whatever. At this point I am willing to try anything. I can send it back to China for $50 for them to redo it, but I only paid $69 for it and I'm not going to put more money into this cheap tablet. I would just like to get it to work.

ZTE SmartTab10 asking for password after update

Hello,
I've recently acquired a ZTE SmartTab10 and it was working just fine, after a software update started asking me for password. So it boots up and it says 'enter your password' on the screen. Thing is, there is no password. Empty doesn't work, any password from any of the accounts don't work, and I never even set a password.
While I realize this may be solved by formatting the device (I do have full access to the recovery), the data on the tablet is very important and unfortunately, only copy, so I'd like to extract it before I go ahead and evaporate the OS. Is there any way to do this?
- Recovery is stock
- Vol up + power gives me android logo with FTM in the middle
- No matter how I connect it to pc ('enter password' mode, FTM mode, recovery) PC doesn't see it as a device and I can't access files
Thank you for taking time to read this,
Have a great day!

How to Venue 7840 bootloop problem?

Hello, as you can see the title, because of my stupid friend, my tablet can't work well now..
He set the password in my tablet and I didn't even noticed at that time.
After I asked him the password, He told me He forgot it.
Unfortunately, that was true, so for unlocking the tablet, I did the wipe data and factory reset.
That was the problem.
After did that, my tablet starts to bootloop, just showing the dell logo.
I tried to access the recovery mode again, but all I can see is that the broken robot, and can't go next step.
I searched the similar threads and I found that if I can approach the fastboot menu, it is able to unbrick the tablet.
I could approach that menu which I can choose normal boot, power off, reboot fastboot, and recovery mode, but that's it. I pressed the volume buttons (up & down simultaneouly) tried many times to recovery mode but after did the factory reset, it couldn't do it again.
Could you give me some advice to solve this problem? I'm looking forward to getting the solution. Thanks. :crying:

I followed the steps which you told me, and I could flash that files.
But after did that, it made the tablet freeze, not bootloop.
The screen just shows dell logo and didn't work well. I waited for 15 minutes, even more but it didn't work well.
And still I can't approach the recovery mode. Just I can see the broken robot..
Is there anything I can do? Hope to get advice :'(

Bricked Acer Iconia Tab One 10 (A3-B20)

Hi all,
I own the Acer A3-B20 and had it rooted some time ago with Kingroot. Installed a system update by Acer a few days ago and since then the tablet only boots in Recovery Mode. Resetting to factory defaults does not help, the filesystem integrity checker shows a few modified files.
Only viable option in recovery mode seems flashing a new firmware and I tried to do so with the currently available offical ROM from Acer: "AV0L0.B3-A20.RV03RC06.WW.GEN1". Flashing starts successfully but ends in the android screen of death (lying robot with red triangle).
Does anybody have a better idea on what to try? I haven't been able to find another firmware to try except the aforementioned.
Cheers,
Jarek

Try Wiping your System partition then doing a Clean Install of the ROM using Fastboot.
Hopefully there will be a option in your Recovery to restart the device in boot loader mode(that's fastboot).
Hi,
Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I'm not able to enter bootloader mode. Recovery mode has an option "Reboot to bootloader" which causes the tablet to power down, nothing else happens.
Also, booting up with Power+Volume Down/Up (tried both) only boots to the same recovery mode.

To access the recovery menu on my B3-A20, I use the Volume-Down by itself; The Power+Volume-up combination starts a Chinese factory test/debug menu.
