I have Xperia neo L
running on Cyanogen mod 7.2..
I just want to ask, is that possible if I install CWM ver 6 up, with "Fix Permission" feature?
and one more thing
What best Acid Audio Engine mod version, is completely stable and fully work on CM 7.2
Thanks for help and answer my noob question,
Sorry for my bad English writing languages
Is any one can give some advice for me :crying:
I suggest to you that CM7 Should not be implementing any audio tweaks. If this happens, you will affect the whole Mod. Trust me, distorted sound will come. I suggest you flash ICS based ROMs and flash Awesome beats

Okay so installed CM9 but now I'm back to stock rom but the one thing i noticed was that the bass on CM9 was waaayyy more powerful than on stock rom. I use the equalizer app. Using it on stock rom, when you turn up bass boost the sound kind of becomes hollow.. Whereas on CM9 you could feel the punch when using equalizer. I wanted to get that on stock rom, so what i did was copy the lib files from cm9 soundfx to the stock rom (coz I'm a noob and somebody told me that lib files are like sound drivers) but that didn't work. Can anyone help me? I want to get the same punchy bass in stock rom... And I've l
Already used the ACID mod, but uninstalled. I just want the sound drivers. No bloatware apps.. Thanks.
I have always thought that cm sound drivers kind of sucked. If you are back on stock, just install a Walkman.

Hello Devs.
I've Just installed a custom rom on my GS3, everything works pretty fine. But the sound production quality from the speakers in distorted and very bad. The Custom ROM had DSP manager, I removed it, but that didn't help.
The sound was okay, until I was running the TouchWiz Based ROM.
Please help friends!
what's that custom rom? you better ask it in that rom thread.

Hi guys I'm using Omega v56 Rom which is really great. However, I have noticed that the stock based Roms do not have a good quality when you are listening music with your headphones. However, AOSP roms or MIUI sound awesome. Is there any tweek to improve this or make it sound louder. Quality is fine but too low. Please let me know. Thanks in advance
I have no sound problem, with stock and decent earbuds and level is to high .
Best for stock is the Viper4Android app and IRS .
See V4A thread in XDA .
Read the sound quality thread .

Flash lastest Boeffla kernel from: http://boeffla.df-kunde.de/sgs3/boeffla-kernel/Test_jb43/
Download Boeffla-configV2 from PlayStore -> Boeffla-Sound and adjust it to your taste (I recommend Archis Audiophile equalizer)
Thank you so much, I will try that. If eventually I wanna try an Aosp rom will I have to remove this Kernel or something like that (never have flashed a kernel before)? Can this be flashed if I am using a stock rom with root (just wondering)?

1-No, you'll just have to do a full wipe as recommended for moving between roms.
2- Yes, you can flash it on any Sammy's 4.3 rom (using odin or CWM based recovery).
BTW- make sure to install the kernel in the link I gave you, because there are several versions for each rom type (CM, 4.1.2, 4.3, Omni etc).
Second, I recommend following developer's guide for configurating the kernel to your liking:

Hey
I'm an audiophile, so i'd like to flash the Ac!d Audio Engine
I tried many different ROM and Kernels to get a compatible combo for Ac!d Audio Engine, but i cant get past the boot animation of croms
I really love the Dorimanx Kernel, so i'd like to keep that one
and I would prefer to flash a Kitkat Rom but would also downgrade to JellyBean(if the battery life is good enough)
Any Suggestions for a compatible ROM ?
Thank you
Currently on SlimSaber 4.4.2 (with Slim_Minimal Gapps) and Dorimanx V10.43v94

maybe you mean "temasek" cm based rom.
when you self don't know anymore how the soundmod calls and how to remove, then only a '/system wipe' and reflash temasek will help. thats good for you anyway because there is temasek v120~ released. many update for you
