Its my pleasure to introduce to you Holo Dark and Holo Light themes for TWRP by thecoby. I found these to be beautiful and simplistic themes and decided to port them to the Incredible 4G. Please stop by and give the original artist thanks for developing these two themes and allowing me to bring them to our great device.
Original thread by thecoby
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32933248
Now let's get started:
These themes will work with TWRP version 2.5.0.0 and earlier versions. These themes have been made to be fully compliant with our phones resolution but if you find an issue please let me know.
Disclaimer: I cannot be held responsible for anything negative that happens to your phone I have tested these and prove them safe.
Directions:
1. Download the zip file of your choice and rename it to UI.zip
2. In your internal sdcard create a new folder within your TWRP folder and name the new folder theme
3. Copy UI.zip into the theme folder
4. Reboot your phone into recovery and tada.
Download Dark Holo Theme
http://db.tt/peXdidfC
Download Light Holo Theme
http://db.tt/rGMWBEUJ
I did exactly that and didn't seem to get it to stick. The UI.zip is in the theme folder in my TWRP folder on my sd card.

I'm sorry for that.Yes put the ui.zip within the internal sdcards TWRP folder. It use to work both ways with earlier versions of TWRP but now you must use the internal SD.

Did you rename it UI.zip and place in in a folder named theme inside the TWRP folder? It should work.

Re: [THEME] TWRP Holo Themes
If you downloaded these themes before this posting you need to go back and download the files again. I have uploaded new files. The previously uploaded files were missing some features I have edited them and they are to my knowledge perfect now. If you find any issues please let me know.
Dark holo works looks nice
For some odd reason, I cannot get this to work for me.

Try deleting your theme folder and re creating it. I'm not sure why it won't work. As long as there is a theme folder within the TWRP folder on your internal storage you just place the ui.zip within the theme folder. It must be named ui.zip
looking good bro! :good:
Dark Holo looks great man, finally got it up and running!
I initially thought something might be broken because I was stuck at the TeamWin loading screen for quite a long time. Eventually light Holo did load and the log appears clean so it is feature complete. Thanks for porting this prairiedogn.
TWRP 2.4.1.0
I'm sorry for letting this get outdated, I don't use TWRP anymore and as a result have neglected this theme. I'll have an updated version up soon just got a lot going on in life right now but will upload in a few days.

I finally uploaded updated themes in the OP. Please let me know if I'm missing anything or if I've failed at something. Again I'm sorry for the delay I've had a lot going on and don't see an end to this rat race in the near future but I'll try to correct any mistakes if I've made any.

Dude this is sick, thanks!
Forgive me, but I'm still new to the Android OS....
just wondering if it's safe (or relatively safe) to install a custom theme over a custom rom? Specifically epic 2.5 in this case.
Just curious before I jump in and make things more awkward than necessary.
Yes. My rudimentary understanding of android is that themes are simply changing the visual aspects of Android and not the underlying function.
ROMs will replace the OS with a customized/altered version.
So FWIW this did install fine over Epic 2.5, however it didn't change the bottom row softkeys (to 5 instead of 3) at all, which was my major motivation to check it out in the first place.
Uninstall for now, new ver of epic supposed to be coming out any time now anyway.

Thanks for this theme, I love it. I ran into an issue though, my Gmail updated and the icon went back to the original, non-themed one. I was hoping unistalling the updates and rebooting would make it go back to the blue one but it didnt. Do I have to re-theme to get it to go back to the blue icon?
im having some serious issues. i got my phone rooted (atleast i think it is) but i cant get the bootstraper to work at all. I have astro file manager and i placed it on the the sdcard unzipped. i unzipp it but cannot find the apk file to install it. help!!
Question: Can this be run over top of the 2.4.0 update (either the MDW/TBH full R2D2 ROM or one of Motoboy's de-bloated versions), or will that "downgrade" all of the files? I like the dark + blue hues, but don't want to revert back to the original 2.2 files.
great theme... two questions/issues... first the clock is black still... i have my phone rooted any ideas?
second. how did you get the icons to appear in the launchbar? i have launcherpro but can't get them to come up as the icons you have in the theme
if it means anything i installed launcherpro after installing the theme.. do i have to reboot via the bootstrapper? thanks
Blue Transfusion Theme Tab Edition for Overcome 8.9 Series V 2.2.0 - P7310 WIFI VERSION [1/18/2012]
I made this theme for my Samsung Epic 4g Touch and decided to make a version for our tabs. Just like my previous theme, a lot of images are ported from other themes and roms. I have more things that I would like to do to this theme, but time is not always on my side. So far I have the Framework, SystemUI, Settings and Launcher themed. I will try to get more done when I have some free time. Hope you all enjoy.

* alterbridge86 for another version of this amazing rom.
* bignadad - a few of the images here are from his awesome theme for the Motorola Xoom - BigDX Xoom/Zoom Theme.
* kwes1020 for some images from his CM7 theme - Precision.
* Tiffany84 from the Epic 4g Touch section for images used.

New guy here, I would also just like to say thanks for your work on these themes. I too prefer the more subtle ICS theme, but am fine with using either one. I just need the color/design consistency your themes provide versus the default theme on the otherwise excellent Overcome rom...

Sorry but the install instructions are somewhat confusing. Since there isn't a TWRP folder in my SDCARD (not external) I created one. Is that correct ? Then I copied the downloaded .zip file there and renamed it to ui.zip. Is that correct ? If not, then I am sorry for bothering, but I dont know what else you mean.
Even checked out another topic which had similiar instructions. When I check in Android in a root explorer i can see the ui.zip in the theme folder in there. When I go to TWRP recovery and go into Filemanager and then into that folder, there is nothing in there. And I still see only the dark theme, though I copied the light theme in there,
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I created a Backup with TWRP, however that file is in the following folder on my SD Card (Internal)
/sdcard/0/TWRP/BACKUPS
And otherwise my TWRP works fine. So how can it be its installed different than from yours or that the Backups would be in a different folder than with yours ?

P.S: Put the theme folder now into the path I posted above and now it works. Thank you.

I want it to be in line with material design.
