i was going from rspl to hspl as in instruction then the hspl said success and my phone shutdown and dosent open up. i cannot access to bootloader either

My T mobile branded Vario II fell off my lap yesterday (in its case) Theres not a scratch on it and its only 4months old. Later on i had loads of missed calls and then realised it wont ring or vibrate or play mp3's.
Im currently running one of HTC's Roms, SPL-1.09 is my bootloader and im not sure how to reflash with the original T-mobile rom before i head back to the shop to see about a replacement
I keep getting a invalid vendor id, and from reading posts on the forums i know i need to do something with the cid so i can flash back down to the original rom.But im getting confused between a super cid and a cid? as what ive found below just mentions cid and not super cid.
Is this the file i need? HTC_Hermes_SIM_CID_Unlock_v3a ? i just run the .bat file then install the orginal t mobile rom as normal?

Good luck with the downgrade - I'd be interested to know how it goes. I also have a T-Mobile MDA Vario II, and so far I've put HardSPL 7 and Radio ROM 1.41 onto it. I'm just trying to decide which WM6 ROM I want to try out
Anyway, I have at the back of my mind that I don't really know how to downgrade it in the case of a warranty claim. The MrVanx guide to downgrading WM5 looks ok, but I'd love to know how to put the radio rom back (I guess this would just be the reverse of the upgrade), but then finally taking taking HardSPL off. In fact I'd vote for a guide on it - would write it myself but I have to confess I'm rather a newbie to the world of HTC upgrades....

I´d like to downgrade to original softbank settings. But they only accept warranty issues if you have the original cid? , right?
So putting the old rom back on is not my problem, "un-super-cid" it is.

please excuse, but i have a question and i will not open a new threat.
I use tytn. I have installed the Radio Version 1.40 and the Black 3.01 Rom. I have used HardSPL and when i go into the bootloader i have Herm200 IPL 1.04 and Herm200 SPL 2.10 OliPro. My question is: it is not possible to go back to wm5 with the installer RUU Hermes 1.18....-Qtek_Ger_Ship. Because in this installer is a Radio Rom. When i will use it, i lost my Radio and i have No GSM. The only way to go back is with MrVanx Hermes downgrade guide. Is this correctness ??

guys and gals plzz help , i tried updating my htc athena i.e, x7500 to radio 1.57 now the device boots and gets stuck on the htc logo screen and for hours togather it does not move forward plz help what could be the problem and what is the remedy , i am really afraid as this device is my bros, and he would kill me if he finds this out....plz help ???

do you have spl 1.2 or 3.5 and can you get to Bootloader screen ( that tri color screen)

to get to bootloader press camera + reset and make sure you don't have mini sd card in

Hi
Don't Panic. Press cameraButton+ Reset by stylus for few seconds then you get the tri colour screen.
Then you you update again with Radio 1.5.7.000. You will be ok if you have spl 1.20

God bless you both, thank god the tri colour screen did appear but when i tried the radio rom 1.57 flashing again, it goes till 7 percent then again shows error of rom image file corrupt please check kinda stuff, this is the same error which i got umpteen times after which the athena got stuff in the htc logo mode ........... still its there and yes that tri colour screen does come up.... plz help what to do next........ i dont want want to upgrade my radio now ...its ok even if i am able to boot in to my old good 6.0 os...., also the bootloader is 1.0 version not 1.2 .........plz guys help i really would pray to god to bless ur souls........ u are doing a fine job thanks.....

Hi
You can't update any other roms other than your original rom. Because your device still on SPl 1.10 factory ststus. Therefore you have to find the original rom which came with your device. you can find in this forum by search depend your device model (consider these X7500/X7501/ Dopod U1000, Uk/German/Italy/Usa, Tmobile/AT & T ) or Go to HTC website with your device serial number you will be able to download your device original rom.
Download your original rom and load it.
Then use Olipro's unlocker to unlock the CID from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398406&highlight=olipro (But read the thread first carefully)
Then you can upgrade any radio or any other rom.

After the above you'll be in spl1.2. You can only flash spl 1.2 based Rom. Do not use any SPL3.5 ROM

Are you sure you want to get there? It is a one way street. You can't come back once you get there. This means you would have less choice in ROM. You can't run your original ROM anymore. If you need to send it in for warranty, you may have problem as you would have clearly shown that you have voided the warranty condition (depending on how alert the service guy is, you may or may not be caught, but just because many manage to get away does not mean that everyone would get away) You must have got the wrong impression that it is better. It is not the case. Many who are there are waiting to come back, but can't for now.
Everything you get in spl3.5 ROM you can get in spl1.2 ROM, except with spl1.2 ROM you have more memory for yourself.
Think carefully, and think again, and again, before you get there.

I used to boot Android on my HTC HD2 which had a custom WM rom.
Now I want to send it to a repair center. I am not an expert on custom roms and such so i was wondering why HSPL2/3 wont work on my phone.
I get a error message which says: Bad SPL.
When i try to reinstall HTC's own rom i get error 294 which states that i need to find another rom, and something about vendor ID.
Please, help me, im going mad.

Do you know witch stock ROM you have?
If you have stock ROM 3.14 you will have spl 3.03 and this isn't compatible with HSPL.
