I had a problem with my phone going dead so i rebooted it and now i need to install a romm on it.
Would anyone please be able to tell me where i would be able to get these roms from and which one would be the best to get.

Sorry Guys , I know i amy be a bit dim , but has anone flashed done this upgrade to an Orange UK XDA2. ! if so are there any problems?
Is there a specific rom or do i have to try to figure it out myself?

Hi,
There are lots of us who have flashed our M1000/XDA2 to SE on Orange UK. This link should help you:

It will give you a link for a UK extended ROM, then all you need is to pick a ROM version (2.02t is the best in my opinion!), make a folder with 2.02t files as well as the extended ROM, and run HimaUpgrade.exe. It will take about half an hour.

when i try to install a new roms on my qtek8500 (startrek) it stop's when it reaches 4 %??? why??

looks like you've got pre-production device there... if so, device bootloader needs to be upgraded first..

and the love rom, should work for G4? 'cause now it's stuck on bootloader
yes the wizard love rom gets most people out of trouble from bootloader mode
it usally hangs for about 5 mins around 95-98% but if you leave it it will flash my advice leave the room for around 10 mins then come back to it

now i've installed RUU_mUn_aRTM_10_2_0_8_WWEx.exe and after reflashing, it shows me windows mobile screen, and then restart the phone...what should I do??? i've tried many roms...could someone please give me an original rom, in english?
I have an O2 Xda Atom Life, I upgraded with the O2 software to WM6 last year. Lately my phone will not get service, none at all. I click on the area where it shows the reception, and it says "Phone not ready, please wait 15 seconds" I cannot even get into the phone settings at all. I have tried to upgrade my phone software to the MWG Windows Mobile 6 since I cannot find any stock software on O2's website.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Does even after a minute or so after restarting the phone the problem still exists? I had the same problem with the original O2 ROM. But it was just a matter of few seconds for the problem to be rectified. If that also doesnt work try using ROM's by Medkid.

Yes the phone actually will not get reception at all anymore. It was bad for a couple weeks, then all of the sudden nothing at all.
I really want to find WM6.1 or whatever is the latest and greatest. I used to have an Xda Mini (wizzard) but that was a while ago and I haven't modded my phone for about a year. What I'm saying is I'm out of touch and need to be pointed in the right direction.

Just check out PDAVIET ROM 19212 by Medkid. It's in the same forum as Atom Mobile 6. Go through the thread and u would come to know.

Thank you for all your help! I need to buy a SD card so I can try the upgraded rom's.
But, I am wondering if somehow the phone locked itself up... or if the radios got messed up. These are the settings right now on my phone, i just ran the O2 WM6 update on it and it didnt do anything to help this problem...
