CID Deleted, still can't flash other region fastboot - Motorola Droid RAZR

I had my XT910S (Korean XT910) bricked somehow and I decided to delete CID partition.
Korean fastboot file and SBF file haven't leaked yet, so I need to delete CID partition and flash other region fastboot file.
I successfully flashed Chinese and Brasil fastboots, but I failed to flash Europe one.
When I try to flash Europe one (by RSD Lite of course), It immediately fails at the first step (I think it was cdt.bin flash failed)
I thought if I delete CID partition, I could flash fastboots of any regions! Why can't I flash Europe fastboot?

I'm sorry, but u can't put ur CID back unless u made a backup. The only way to boot normally (not BP Tools-boot) with CID erased is to install BootManager which is in Play Store (need root). If u install it, u can boot normally from now on.

[OTA]672.180.41.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU

Do not use anymore, there is a full SBF available. Flash using RSD Lite or via moto-fastboot.
This is the official ICS OTA update for the NonEFIGS region.
By means of spoofing firmware version as 651.167.21.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU in build.prop user mbartosik managed to download 672.180.41.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU OTA update from the QA environment.
If you want to thank user mbartosik, please go to this post and press "Thanks" button.
Download:
URL: Blur_Version.651.167.21.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU .zip
MD5: c57e495e901f58b0a070bd57c53eb397
Installation:
If you're on a GB build other than 651.167.21.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU, flash this SBF prior to continuing with this OTA update. It is recommended to reset the phone to factory defaults in order to avoid FCs and battery drain.
If you're on a clean (no root, no modifications to the system partition, stock recovery) 651.167.21.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU (GB 2.3.6), drop the update onto your external microSDHC card, go to recovery and proceed with update. It is recommended to reset the phone to factory defaults in order to avoid FCs and battery drain.
If you're on an ICS leak:
Put the update in your external microSDHC card.
Reboot to AP Fastboot.
Flash this kernel (also courtesy of user mbartosik): moto-fastboot flash boot boot_new_41.img
Flash system_signed from this SBF (unzip it): moto-fastboot flash system system_image
Reboot to recovery, wipe cache and proceed with update.
Note: Only use moto-fastboot in order to avoid preflash validation error when flashing the GB 2.3.6 system_signed.
Bugs:
Apps which use extended GPS commands (e.g. GPS Test and GPS Status & Toolbox) won't report visible satellites etc. This can be fixed by flashing newer U_04.12.00R radio image (again, courtesy of user mbartosik) using BootMenu Manager recovery. Beware, this may impact your 2G, 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth performance - in case of problems, you can revert to U_04.10.00R radio which is shipped with this update by flashing this image (as usual, courtesy of user mbartosik).

you must install service soft by rsd (ICS) and go to second point of OP
for autor
If we are to charge any leaks ICS fastboot package for 651.167.21.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU, we also need EternityProject's FastBoot flashME

I only set up the thread - all kudos to mbartosik for pulling the OTA and sharing the patched kernel.
I'm not sure which partitions are being modified by custom firmwares, so flashing the ICS SBF prior to proceeding with the new kernel and GB system might be a safe bet. In theory, you should then flash the attached kernel and 2.3.6 system image, then apply OTA from the stock recovery. However, I stumbled upon preflash validation error when trying to flash system from NonEFIGS 2.3.6 over the leaked 676.226.3.
With regard to FlashME.bat - I don't use Windows. The FlashNIX.sh seems to be a clone of tools shipped within the ICS SBF. I will publish step-by-step tutorial once I get over the preflash validation error.

The steps are really simple to do.
You just need an working ADB on your PC
Fastboot flash boot boot_new.img
Fastboot flash system system_signed
Boot in Recovery, wipe data & cache and apply the update.
All you guys need is the system signed of the based GB Fastboot and the linked boot.img

Is it possible to update to this version from 651.73.30.XT910.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU (2.3.5)? This is the latest officialy available (non-branded) version in my country (Czech Republic). Thx for the answer.

Well, ADB in this context is only useful to enter AP fastboot mode... I followed this procedure using fastboot binary from the ICS SBF, but an attempt to fastboot flash system system_signed gave me preflash validation error (And yes, I was using the correct SBF.) - any suggestions?
Edit: It seems that the fastboot binary bundled within ICS SBF file is defective. I used moto-fastboot binary from this post and successfully flashed system image!
Besides that, how to update the recovery? Is partition dump the only way?
It should be the same procedure, like we used on EU Leaks. Only the Files have to be changed.

XT909 IS12M unbrick solution

Ive been finding a solution to unbrick my xt909...,
at first Ive thought that I can flash my device with a xt910 firmware but it came out that Ive bricked my phone
flash failure/boot failure and cannot even access to recovery mode
Here's what I did:
using RSD Lite I flash the device with an empty radio.img to rid out the boot failure and again flash my device using the droid razr utility 1.7
with 6.16.211..., it came out to be successful and now I can manage to boot my device recovery mode...
but... My problem is when everytime I update my device with any 6.16.211 update.zip I get a "signature verification failed"
Help here please

atleast 80% battery
droid rarz utility 1.7
rsd lite
fastboot.exe or any fastboot command line tool
and some patience
1st - extract droid razr utility and find the mbmloader named " allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm"
2nd - enter fastboot and flash the mbm... here's how
( fastboot.exe flash mbmloader allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm.bin)
3rd - reboot
( fastboot.exe reboot-bootloader)
4th - erase the Contact I.D No.
(fastboot.exe erase cid) (fastboot.exe reboot-bootloader)
of course with a erased CID you'll never be able to turn on your phone into normal mode but still can gain access to fastboot
5th - download and flash the XT912 fastboot file
HTML:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/cdma_spyder/VRZ_XT912_6.7.2-180_DHD-16_M4-31_1FF.xml.zip

hi,19lilsaiNt68.
I have a KDDI IS12M cellphone just like you. And I also bricked it.
In your way,I tried to flash the file "allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm.bin", but I got a error message said:" INFOimage bigger than partition / Failed". However, the command "fastboot flash mbm allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm.bin " Can be executed. Then I erased my CID and I tried to flash XT912 fastboot file. In this step:"flash devtree",the screen showed the message:validation failure.
That is my biggest problem and now I don't know how to fix it. Could you help me? Thanks a lot!

Are you Encode from twit?
The problem is you flashed an ICS Rom. Try that first:
Boot into stock recovery and perform a factory reset. If it boots, ok. If it doesn't boot you should flash Jelly Bean. Just grab that one from VZW at sbf.droid-developers.org.
DON'T FLASH EU JB! Otherwise you won't be able to DOWNGRADE or switch to another region rom because it has the highest secure version compared to all others.
This is VZW JB: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/cdma_spyder/cdma_spyder_9.8.2O-72_VZW-16_1ff.xml.zip

[SOLVED] Failed to erase CID on XT910S

I got a boot loop on my XT910S (Korean XT910)
I forgot to install Safestrap and I just installed (/data based) CWM and installed CM10. (yeah I know I'm really stupid)
When I rebooted, CWM was gone and I got stucked on CM10 boot animation...
Because fastboot file and sbf for XT910S (Korean XT910) ARE NOT LEAKED (NOTHING!!!!!), (MOTOROLA, SERIOUSLY?)
I needed to erase CID and flash other region's fastboot file.
So I used these commands :
fastboot flash mbm allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm.bin
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot erase cid
It succeeded until "fastboot reboot-bootloader"
but failed on "fastboot erase cid"
I have enough battery (Battery OK, OK to program in AP fastboot)
Is it because CID partition for XT910S is different from CID partition for XT910 GSM?
Pls help me!!!! :crying:
-----------SOLVED--------------
How I solved : I just did it one more time, and it succeeded...WTF?! XD

If you can access your phone via fastboot then you can revive it pretty quick.
If you cannot, then...... no need to say it
here are the steps to follow if you can use fastboot:
first of all you should prepare your files; you need the drivers for the device, adb and fastboot executable files, a ROM of your choice with the proper boot.img. Once you got those put them in one folder and proceed.
enter bootloader mode (volume down + power)
select fastboot mode
plug your usb cable to your PC
open a cmd window and navigate to your fastboot directory and execute this command: fastboot flash boot boot.img
now you should push a downloaded ROM to your internal sdcard with this command: adb push *here your ROM name.rar or .zip* storage/sdcard0/
if you get an error of not copying, the add a folder for example storage/sdcard0/Download/ or storage/sdcard0/DCIM/
then you can enter recovery and flash your ROM, you should do a wipe and install, then wipe cache and then reboot.
This should put your phone to work with whatever ROM you install, then to get to stock is another process which includes relocking the bootloader.
Please update so I can give you any more help.
NOTE: any rom you download should be compatible with your CID, check it via fastboot with this command: fastboot getvar cid. Also try to download ARHD from mike1986, in his thread you can find compatible CID. If not try to look for a rom compatible with your CID

If you have a zip (rom) file on your pc you can ADB sideload it. and pull out the boot.img of the rom. install the rom. read the fourth post of this
