I have a stock gs2 with root permission obtained with a clockwork recovery in temporary mode.
With this cw I can install a mod rom like jellybam or I need to replace the original recovery with the cw?
If I change the rom, the internal counter change? I risk a yellow triangle on boot?
Thanks for all help you can give me, and sorry for my bad English.

If you are on stock ICS 4.0.4 be careful. Do not try to install roms on temp recovery. You need to flash a safe kernel like siyah or dorimanx. And yes you will have the yellow triangle when you flash a kernel. But its no big deal. You can easily get rid of it using Triangle away app

When I use the CWM to make a backup, it reboots into the recovery mode (refer to the capture screen) and can not do the backup. What should I do?
(P.S. I have successfully done the backup once I rooted the GS2, however, I can not do it now)
Thanks for all your help in advance.
I believe you need Recovery 2e to be able to use all of CWM's functions. Have you flashed any of ChainFire's insecure kernels? If not, have a look in the following thread:

I have a simillar issue and I wondered if it was because I flashed the stock kernel over the top of the CF root kernel to get rid of the orange triangle - did you do the same?
When I rooted with CF only my backup worked but I had the orange triangle.

You're seemed to delete CWM through KERNEL overwriting or something similar. Try to flash with any kernel with CWM. The best way for such a recovery is to take CF root kernel with CWM. CWM will come back for sure
It happened to me too. When I tried CF's instructions to remove the yellow triangle I lost CWM Recovery (root and su remains), don't know what I did wrong (tried several times step by step). So finally I gave up and ordered USB JIG from ebay.
Hahaha, you could've just flashed a custom kernal again and there is your custom recovery. No need for that jig.
I tried http://www.sammobile.com
but I can't find kernel for this S2 phone

i am a little confused there, can i update it directly to jelly bean using safe kernel?
Have you got root? you don't need to be worried about emmc brick bug as you aren't on ics 4.0.4.
Yes you can. It was only the stock 4.0.4 kernels that where not safe if I remember correctly if you are rooted already you can download and flash via CWM or if you dont want to root you can get stock from sammobile and flash with oidn

it is not rooted, and it is 2.3.3 you know
If you don't plan to root then download stock from sammobile and flash with odin if you are looking to root get a rooted kernel Siyah and Philz are popular flash one and then flash the rom you want via CWM

yes, i want to root it,
do i have first to install any stock ICS first?
No you can just download a custom rom and flash it. If you flash non stock via ODIN you will increase your binary counter and get the yellow triangle at boot time
If you dont want to have the yellow triangle at boot time there are ways to root without increasing the counter flashing PhilZ kernel via stock recovery is one way but I did not try it myself else there is the triangle away app

non stock and custom sounds like same
im not sure if you saw screanshot of the phone
Do you meant sound the same to flash? If so it will since both are just flashing a new ROM one made by Samsung and the other not. If you flash a custom rom the differences come after it starts up
Hi.
Im kinda new with root, cwm and roms. But I've stucked in with one thing. I've got i9100 intl. I've wanted to install CM10.2 but, anytime i try to replace 3e with cwm, after reboot still 3e starts, so I can't go any further. In mid 2013 I've replaced old 4.0.4ICS with noncarrier XEO (Poland) 4.1.2 Samsung orginal. I've used Odin, and everything works fine. But now I would like to learn more about roms, but can't, couse cwm won't replace orginal 3e. If I did something wrong, please point me.

install dorimanx kernel v8.43 via odin

Ok. I will try, but what if I would like to test cm? Is this mean I can't install cwm recovery at all? Im new, like I've wrote, but not new in Linux. I thought that, if I can install cwm recovery that I would install anyrom I wish. But I will try with dorinmanx anyway.
//edit
Kernel installed successfully. Does it mean, I can try to install cwm recovery or CM? How to remove yellow triangle which appears on the start?

Along with the kernel you should have a custom recovery installed, now, and proceed to mount any custom ROM you want to try out.

Q4: When I turn my phone on, I see a yellow triangle. What is it and how can I get rid of it?
It will appear if you have flashed a non-official kernel from download mode. If you flash kernels using CWM recovery, Mobile Odin etc. you won't get this yellow triangle.
The easiest ways to remove it are to use the app Triangle Away OR use a USB Jig.

Thanks for help. Installing dorimanx kernel with cwm gives me oportunity to test CM and many others. Actually I need to export/import full contact list and text messages from stock to CM or any other rom and lastly be happy to use random rom.
Thanks again.

If you still want to, you can remove this triangle. But it's not doing any harm, so you can leave it like it is. Just so you know.

Sadly didn't work, it says that my phone didn't pass the compability test so what's now? When i look for it on google play it says "your device isn't compatible with this version" but it installed succefully on my device running originally 2.3.6 with generic kitkat rom in 4.4.2 is there any method to do it in odin at least? Or custom kernel would be better? Answers will be appreciated.
No way to change it, also the risk is extreme i don't wanna brick my device, even i installed a custom kernel from odin, it showed "PASS" and my phone restarted and appeared the samsung logo later it turned off and restarted again and later the screen kept in white and i did need to get back to the old kernel
Anyway flash the stock recovery it's impossible to do.

You know that without cwm recovery u can't flash custom roms & kernals.
Pleas clear that which recovery u want stock recovery or cwm recovery?
And why?
Then I can easily guide or help u.
Best regards.
I want to change stock recovery to cwm recovery. I want cwm permanently no temporal, i know the zip file it's temporal but i want it permanent! I don't know how my phone did install "Compact" kernel with stock recovery and not with cwm i've had to do it that way 'cause odin didn't work and my phone got bricked
Can i install cwm permanent on samsung galaxy young duos? (S6102B)
I'll be very grateful if somebody could explain me!
The reason why i want cwm permanent and why i want it it's because i don't want to enter in recovery and see always the limited stock recovery with just 4 options
