I am looking for some way to change the mapping of the HW keys...
Not 100% as I don't have a blank rom in front of be but I'm sure its in system/usr/keylayouts and its one of this file keylayoutXX.kl I think...
Use notepad++ to open it
Regards

The file was gpio-keys.kl. Phone is useable again. Thanks!
Hi
Need help and info on some features listed below.
1) Flashlight : doesnt matter if the phone is locked, screen off, screen on, etc. As long as Android is up and running I want the camera flash to switch on / off when long pressing the home button.
Is there a way of accomplishing this ?
(I have rooted the phone.)
(Am I the only one in the world who thinks a flashlight should be built into every mobile phone as a default feature ? Lol)
2) Toggle widgets should never slide (manually or automatically) on the notification screen (like in cm 10.1)
Does anybody know any app available for customizing notification panel in TW ?
Or is it somehow hack-able ?
3) is it possible to install new photo sphere cam on 4.1.2 jb ? Or is 4.2 needed ?
If yes, how ?
4) is it possible for the multi window feature to have e.g. whatsapp support (not only specific apps) ?
Does the app have to be written to support multiple windows feature ?
In other words will we ever be able to use eg whatsapp in multi window mode ?
Thanks.

As title says my widgets disappear from the homescreen after reboot (but not always). Ok the problem is mostly just annoying, but the last time i had some important notes kept on the widget and they are gone too...
Did anyone experience tha same problem?
EDIT: i use nottachtrix 2.1 (had that from 1.31) and i use the stock blur launcher

what rom you have installed?
Sorry, it seems i missed the most important ... I now wrote that on first post

So why exactly is a new thread needed? Why couldn't you just ask in the ROM's thread?
OP, please read the Forum Rules on posting, #1 Search before posting....
Since this thread has been moved to the Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting, I will leave it as that...
Hi! I'm kinda new so if the topic was disscused give me a link if not help me a bit. Basically the camera isn't focusing the long distance photos they are all blurry and no definition what so ever , and when i slowly bring the phone closer the object is getting more and more accurate but to a certaine point then becomes blurry again and in all these time the auto focusing isnt working. And i tried most of the solutions like: reseting all camera options, turning on anti- shake mode , taping on the screen to focus, turn on autofocus, turn on macro , changing resolution , changing metering ... bassicaly all the options avabile and i want to know if it can be fixed by any software way or by factory reseting the phone. If is not clear enough i'll come back with some sample pictures and more explications.
Thanks alot! and sorry for my grammar mistakes

First step factory reset .
If it still doesn't work after a wipe, if u still have warranty. Best ask for a replace.
Sent from my GT-I9300
Well well the factory reset didn't worked... but you see i have like 2 dark fuzzy points when i'm in camera mode... see down there .... and yes i cleaned my back lense... do those 2 dark point may be the problem?

Sry for the delay... Yes i tried that too ... iam just sad that noone besides you is willing to help (
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Well i have nvr seen someone with this kind of problem so yeah. If u are someone who takes pics frequently, i recommend u to actually just bring it to the service centre and ask them to fix it. But yeah, u said ur warranty is gone. So u have to pay.

essential for peoples like us,who are keep
