Hi Guys,
i need help to solve this unlock problem for my bother phone.
Below are attempts i tried but fail.
1. tried to use null as password, result fail
2. use pc companion to repair, at the last page suppose to have install button but only finish button, no install button.
3. tried sony erricson update software, download the lastest version, the software check for phone software version but the phone have the latest software so cannot update. found previous version of software update but when i run the software it check for the software update version and the software update itself first, again fails.
all the above solutions i found while try to find how to unlock the phone.
so guys out there who can help me, your help is appreciated.

is ur phone rooted ?
If yes, recovery installed?
if yes, reinstall ur fav ROM.
Follow the dev's instruction (means clean wipe) and this is a less trouble methode.
And for re install, use the flash tool...

Ok buddy, The flashtool is a tool which u need to install in your PC.
Also download the 2.1 firmware from below link
http://www.mediafire.com/?sqv6274anzfzn2x
Now u will get a .ftf file, place this file in ur firmware folder of the flashtool
now, open the flash tool and click on flash.
You will see the 2.1 firmware version.
Now take out the battery from ur phone, connect ur USB cable first to ur PC and then to ur phone (battery still not inserted).
Now press the back button (dont release it) and insert the phone's battery.
U should be seeing the green LED and now watch the flash tool window...
Follow the instructions in the flashtool window.
Remember, this is just to install the 2.1 firmware
Once its installed, u can root ur phone and install xrecovery, (if u feel u need a root).
Hope this helps.
PM me if any help required....
Mmmm heard this all before who does the phone belong to

I guess its not our place to question things like these but I knew someone who literally stole a phone and flashed it over because he was a techy and had the "know how"
its just ridiculous that you would forgot the pattern lock, the secret question and the google account info...
oh well... we can only hope that this was not a stolen phone

Hello everyone,
Last night I changed my SGS2 pin without really paying attention to what I was doing, and subsequently forget it 3 seconds later. My phone is rooted, I have CWM and I am using a custom ROM. What can I do? Is there anyway to unlock my phone? I also saw this solution posted in another thread. Will that fix my phone?
Thank you in advance for any help.

If I backup data before doing this, then recover the data, will I be able to get into my phone? Or will it backup my PIN too?
If you've forgotten your pin you should be able to login with your Gmail account.

Forgot about that.
But first you need to enter the wrong pin a lot of times...

Originally that's what I thought too, but that only works with the pattern, not the PIN. I've entered my PIN wrong hundreds of times and it hasn't given me that option.
Fair enough
So I tested that and you're right. Flummoxed.

the singing in to unlock procedure doesn't require any kind of data connection as it compares the credentials entered to the google account already registered in the device without needing a data connection

We tried it many times .Please someone help us.
I'm hesitant right now, cause I might just assume that someone might have stolen a phone and now asks for how to unlock it. But anyways, there was just a piece of information on cracking pattern-lock on xda. Google might help you find it.

For other person who talk about spy.
i said to you guys.I have a shop i fix it to people it's not mine.I make money when i fix it to them.I have a small shop in Iraq.
If the phone has usb-debugging on. You can use adb to delete the pattern. How to do it was on news (of xda) a while ago. You should be able to find to find it from there.

if you flash stock rom without wipe data factory reset , your data'll save and the pattern lock is still the same.
if you wipe it, you will lose your data(but files in storage still the same if doesn't format) at all.

There is a software called One Click Pattern Unlock. Google it and download.
I have used it before. It works without root.
WARNING it damages lock.
So after you reset lock, immediately backup all data (use MyBackup Free or Pro)
and install stock ROM. (I flashed with Odin, but you can try factory reset AFTER backup.)
