Always worked for me
Well, you need to tell us what went wrong by describing step by step what did you do and what were the outcomes. Crystal balls are scarce these days.

I have tried both older and newer versions of RSD Lite and the drivers for the X2, have un installed and re installed the drivers from both my win7 laptop and my XP desktop numerous time, let all drivers fully detect and install and rebooted the systems. USB debugging is active and I have followed SBF Tutorial straight through. My phone is on the manually downloaded stock version of 2.3.3 from xda and has never been rooted.
I start RSD and point it to SBF file, plug in USB to computer, startup phone to fastboot menu and scroll to rsd and hit volume up, connect phone to computer and....... nothing, phone is not recognized by rsd and start button does nothing.
I need help to sbf back to 2.2 so I can run pre-rooted 2.3.3 !
Any thoughts or suggestions?

I used these successfully this morning.
Try wiping data. I tried to RSD Lite this morning and it wouldn't boot after, so I wiped data and it worked. Also does RSD take a while to finish? It should. About 10 minutes. If it takes 5 minutes, somethings not working, at that point I would suggest re-downloading your SBF file, make sure the file you are using is for the DROID X2.
Have you solved this yet? Im interested in knowing what worked for you

I haven't had a chance to work on this yet. I can tell you that the sbf file is the one from the DROID X2 forums. RSD will not show anything working when I hit start and does not show my device, I have also done a full wipe .....twice

Boot up your phone and plug it in. Does anything show up in device manager? Also, with your phone booted, if you plug it in does lsd lite recognize it?
If you are still under warranty you could try dropping the phone in a bucket of water and try it with a new phone! That gem just came to me in a dream

I understand you had your sense of humor removed, and im sorry about that, but I don't think the OP is actually going to try it, I've been working with him on the issue and I think he understands im not being serious. Your advice was just as helpful, if you read the first post he answered all your questions

Hmm...don't see anything about device manager or if rsd lite can recognize it during normal booting of the phone.
Do you know who will be reading your post in two months? Will they know you were kidding?
If you want more detailed info on his problem read all his posts on the sbf tutorial thread, this guy has tried everything rsd foes not recognize he has a device plugged in everything else does

Yes, it shows I'm DM on Windows but not RSD Lite... Gave that phone to my wife now, but will work on it when she let's me. I will keep all of your suggestions in mind. Thanks for the help.

You have to put the phone in RED mode. Here's how. Press down on volume while powering on phone. Youll see fastboot on the top of screen. Next scroll with volume down until you see RSD protocol, around 8or9 clicks. Then plug in phone, you should be good.

I'm having the exact same issue with Windows 7 x64 posted about it in another thread, anyone having any revelations?
Also OP what did you have your phone set up with before you were trying to restore it? I had V6 supercharger and root through gingerbreak 1.2, I unrooted with gingerbreak 1.2 and tried to remove v6 by re-running the script and choosing the options that sounded like they would unroot it. I then factory reset it a few times. Maybe its something we did with our phones.
Hey actually quick question for you OP added to the previous post, are you using a Motorola USB cable or some other micro-USB cable, I'm using an HTC right now I'm going to get my hands on a Motorola in a few and try that.
I didn't do anything fancy with the phone prior to downloading the stock ota and flashing it in stock recovery. Never rooted or anything. I was using the Motorola usb that came with the phone. I am still going to work this out when I can steal it from my wife long enough.

Before some of you gets upset with me posting the same kind of question, please know that I looked at the forum everywhere plus some other forums and tried almost everything. Here's the summary.
I recently got Droid Razr Asia version and I upgraded to EU Retail rom n rooted it.
There was one problem that I noticed that only bluetooth was not working.
Checked online, and found out that it's the radio mismatch b/w EU and Asia version.
So I downloaded RAZRX rom and was trying to flash it again with bootstrap.
So the process started and in 10 seconds it failed.
So I tried to search other forums ...
at some place i found that ... after Hard Resetting, clearing catche; I am also supposed to format the system.
So I followed the whole procedure, and turns out that again it does not get FLASHED. So I downloaded the ASIA version again and tried to format. It did not work. I tried with EU version, it did not work.
So after getting tired, I tried with RSDLite to flash through PC.
That's when I found out that ...
It detects the phone ... but the phone has no EMEI, software version or any other details. Everything is n/a.
Still I tried, and it said "fastboot installation failed" or somethin like that.
And now my phone is stuck on red motorola logo.
I tried to power off and go to bootloader fastboot ...
and it says "Fastboot Locked ... Press power button to power down."
I tried with the DroidRazrUtility1.4 also ...
But it does not detect the phone.
I tried other few things I found online. But nothing worked.
I also drained the battery by keeping it aside to see if the fastboot gets unlocked, but it didn't work.
However, I haven't removed the battery yet. Cause I do not have the tools.
Please can somebody tell me step by step approach how to do this?
Because I haven't found out where I am going wrong in the given methods. and btw, I have followed everything exactly step by step.
Really appreciate any kind of help.
Thank you very much.
Try to flash with RSD Alternative

Thanks a ton.
But will it still work if my AP FATBOOT mode says that "Device is Locked"
And the battery is on low?

Probably not. I read on one of the forums there might be a way around the battery being low. I think it was here in xda. Do a search for fast boot install or battery, something like that. If you find that doesn't work you would have to make the tbh cable which allows power to the phone without a battery, or in your case a near dead battery.
Sent from my Droid Razr using Tapatalk
"Device is locked" is natural, (almost) all of our bootloaders are locked. Nothing to do with flashing official ROMs.
You'll need to make a factory cable if the battery is low, search the development forum for a guide.

hello everyone,
guys I am "desperate".
well, I was using the rom LiquidSmooth v2.4 on my razr XT910 was two weeks and everything was fine, so that before yesterday stopped recognizing my usb cable. I made several tests and ended up deleting my internal and external memory (pure stupidity), along with my backup. Now my phone does not pass the motorola logo screen, and I can only enter the Native motorola recovery.
My cel is not being recognized by the usb cable, or in fastboot, ie, do not have to use RSD.
With that, I wish someone, a good soul, can provide a nandroid of a rom to be performed via native razr recovery. (remembering that the rom I used was 4.2.2 jb and my cel is retail.en.eu)
Man, already tried everything, so I have left it. I can not lose this cel, I have no money to buy another (student is a sh all poor. Hehe)
if anyone has another idea of how to fix my cel is welcome.
if you can help me thank you very much ...
ps: very good initial video for noobs, kkkkk
ps ²: do not speak English very well, so I used google translator, sorry an error.

I'm not sure if this will fix your problem, but do you have the proper drivers installed on your computer? Try installing them (https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/88481) and then plugging it in. If it works, you can use Matt's Utility (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192467) to restore to stock.

thanks man, but already tried installing all the drives, but not forward ... already many tests, including other computers but I can not that my phone is recognized by usb. I think it is hardware problem from my phone ... I found the little that has not as installing a nandroid recovery by native, so if I do not get the computer to recognize my phone, there is no hope for me.
The only thing I can think of would be to try out one of these http://shop.teamblackhat.info/Factory-style-programming-cable-for-Motorola-FactCable.htm and hope the computer recognizes it. Anybody else know if this would work if the computer doesn't recognize the phone at the moment?

Agreed. Factory cable and RSD unbricked my phone and all I had left was bootloader. I'd flashed an ICS recovery on JB and even killed the android recovery.

I've tried the RSD Lite method with "Blur_Version.673.94.328.XT910.Retail.en.AU" from sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=10 but it doesn't do anything after unpacking. I've updated drivers too, when I connect USB via AP fastboot it makes a noise and shows up as "fastboot cdma_spyder s" on my comp but nothing else.
I'm at a loss as to what I can do. Can someone please help me?

Search in the forum about razzr xt910 latam.. Download the sbf file (official firmware), make sure you have an adequate battery ( about 80% ). Then check the driver on your computer make sure you have the driver installed in it. and if the problem still exist try to plug to another pc or laptop and dont forget to install the driver on the other laptop or pc that you used.
please read another thread in this forum to get another option and method about your phone.
Hope this help.
