Hi.. I recently installed a custom rom by **Feralab** its ICS v4.
Following is the status of my phone:
Android version: 4.0.9
Baseband version: 2.1.71
Kernel version: 2.6.9-r27-FeraKernel-V5.1 [email protected]#1
Build date: 17/11/2012
Build number ***FeraLab*** ICS V4|2012
The problem is, after the update, my phone takes a very long time to charge the battery (wall charging as well as usb plugged into pc).
But the battery life is awesome :good: .. the charging is much faster when the phone is charged when turned off .
but as a whole the charging is slow.. :crying:
Please help me out..
Thanks and Regards..

Hi People I have a Problem that should be easy to solve for most of you ^^.
I have a rootet Galaxy S2 with the following rom on it:
.galaxys2root.com/galaxy-s2-roms/darky-ics-rom-for-rooted-galaxy-s2-gt-i9100-xxlpqofficial-ota/
My Device is running
Android Version: 4.0.3 (Official Samsung Firmware)
BaseBand: I9100xxlph
Kernel: 3.0.15-I9100xxlph-cl118559 [email protected] #3
build: lidroid-resurrection remix ics 9.6 by westcripro.build.version.incremental=xxlph
everything is working fine execpt the batterylife.
in my opinion the last rom (stock) was way better.
so my question is: is there any kernel that matches the rom i am actually using that increases the batterylife ?
at "normal" use my batt is loosing power very fast.
-no gps on
-display turned down
-wifi is not running
i am very new to those things. its my first xp with rooting and modding.
help would be nice.
Chainfire has a CF-root for LPQ. Maybe try that and have a mess about with the voltages?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Acording to your device info your on LPH and thats a BETA firmware.Your battery wont get any better until you are running the official release LPQ firmware which has increased quite a lot the battery life in my opinion.Flash the LPQ firmware and an LPQ based custom ROM.
Hello,
I'm kinda new here and am having issues with my S II.
It keeps turning of sporadically, but doesn't reboot then.
It then stays off, needing to be turned on then again.
Do you guys have any hints or tips?
Hint: at least you dont have a bootloop.
Tip: next time post details about the phone and firmware and when this happens/what you were doing etc.

it was in standby mode
Here the details:
Android: 4.1.2
Baseband: I9100XXLPX
Kernel: Siya-Dorimanx V7.8
Build: Resurrection Remix JB: 3.1.2
It might be the battery. Do you still have a warranty?
Try clean contact between battery and phone.
My friend had same problem, new battery fix it.
I see you are using siyha kernel are you undervolting or underclocking your rom if so reset the values
This is slightly bizarre but my Samsung Galaxy S i9000 believes it is a tablet. I know this because when I downloaded Whatsapp, it said: Note: Tablets are currently not supported. Furthermore when I downloaded a game called Indestructible it started off the game as if the phone was a tablet (tablet starts with a different car to phones). Honestly, I'm quite confused.
Before all of this happened I had Icy Glitch v14 kernel flashed onto my phone and my phone had worked perfectly. Then after a few months it went into 2 bootloops; I recovered from the first one but then I couldn't reboot into recovery so I gave it to a man who fixed it - I don't know what he did but he fixed my phone and returned it to it's stock settings. After that I re-flashed Icy Glitch v14 kernel and my Samsung Galaxy S worked like before, except for the phone thinking it was a tablet.I then flashed a Semaphore kernel to see if it would make any difference but it didn't. Any Ideas on how I could persuade my phone it is a phone again??????
