CM6: Some questions

Hi,
I am currently using CM6 official night build for Hero and I got some questions, if someone's kind enough to answer it
* Why is JIT not enabled by default ? I thought Android 2.2 had JIT stable, why is it not the case in CM6 night build ?
* Will there be a way to {over|under}clock directly in the kernel like the last 2.1 roms are doing, not by using the overclock widget that register on hooks and is much slower to switch frequencies ?
* ADW.Launcher is the default home, why isn't it linked to the market, like the GMap app is (it can be updated but not removed) ? We can install the market ADW.Launcher app but it is not the same app (the settings menu is not at the same place and the previous settings menu still appears in the phone's settings).
* In the Rom Manager app, it is said that I should install the ClockworkMod recovery to use the app. What is it ? Is it as crazy as Kubrick ? Seriously, I am currently using RA-hero-v1.6.2, what is this ClockworkMod, is it better ? Should I install it ?
* I saw that there was a way to skin CM5, changing, for example the color and image of the notification bar, Skins were installable directly with a barcode. Is there such a way in CM6 ?
I hope these are not (too) noob questions, thank you for answering anyway
Seriously, you used the word yourself. You really think development is the area for questions? Next time post in the Q&A section, the hint is in the name... (reported)

Appologies, I didn't pay attention, my bad.
Could a mod move it to the right forum ?
Thread moved to Q&A.
Up ?
Nobody to answer those questions ?
I would suggest posting on their forums as the devs probably don't regularly check XDA.

[Q] How do i downgrade to Gb from ICS

Simple guide would be nice.
Upgraded to ICS today, the bottom right button doesnt bring up settings, it brings up a bar at the top which I don't like and can't change, the slider from lock screen changed to a camera when i often used it to turn silent on/off
it updated my facebook to the new slower/clunkier version
the text messaging is differnent
etc etc
I do no like this update and would like to revert to Gingerbread, has anyone done it and how do i do it?
I'm a noob too.

[MOD] Themes menu back (NO ROOT) MOVED!

MOVED TO THEMES AND APPS
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/themes-apps/mod-themes-menu-root-permanent-fix-t3035378
Nice to know about a backdoor to that menu that doesn't require root. Just a heads up, this is more of a "Themes and Apps" kind of post. The mods will probably move it over to that section.

OK. I just placed it here since it pertains mainly to the Sprint variant.
Each variant has a dedicated group of topics and then a general group for all G3 variants. So you'd want "Themes and Apps" under the Sprint G3.

New ROM in development

S0 I have been testing a ROM with a couple others it will be available soon and it should be bug free as we have already logged well over a 100 hours of testing. It adds updated gapps, z5 apps, sound mods, display mods, charging mod (maybe),debloted, deodex. Init.d support aosp icons (maybe), system ui mods
And much more. There will be a link in this post to the development section when its ready.
Thread closed and moved
Placeholder threads are not allowed. Also do not post in the development section unless you have something to develop.

Immersive pure black background UI Android launcher

Hey folks. I'm looking for the rooted Android launcher app which is capable of hiding/overriding/theming all Android UI including the taskbar, notifications and settings panel. Preferably the keyboard too. I plan to dedicatre my old Note 3 (Jasmine ROM 5.0 currently) for use in the total darkness without blinding myself). Any hacking ideas for how that could be achieved without dedicated launcher are welcome too! Or maybe you know a better compatible ROM which might help with that desire?
