Based on the amount and quality of info provided by you, the answer can be only one:
you are using too big and leaking sand clock, when it turns, sand covers your screen.
Use mop.
Your funny and stupid lol

You are too intelligent to:
a) google the problem by yourself;
b) provide at least basic information: kernel, ROM, rooted or not, other mods installed or not.
Last but not least, you're very polite while asking for support, therefore your question, as you may see, got a huge attention and plenty of answers
....better still, contact the app developer

Typing this on the new version of swift k x. THIS IS AMAZING. Thanks for sharing with us...

I bought swift key x, for some odd reason i can't get away from the stock android keyboard.
I like it, but think I still prefer Perfect Keyboard. It seems to me the new smart space feature in the Swiftkey is a little too agressive. I sometimes end up getting spaces where I didn't want them.
i guess i'm the only one who thought it's terrible? I tried it to see if its any better than AI Type that I've been using for over a year. I switched back.

Ha ha...I typically have the opposite problem with swiftkey products - try to add 2 spaces after a sentence and end up with a predicted word instead. I always have to turn off "space bar inserts predicted word" because of this, and it kinda hinders the usability of swiftkey.
Made it about 14 hours (8 of which I was sleeping) before going back to swype
SwiftKey works really well for me. Swype is annoying and the samsung keyboard is awful.

^^^^this - tried renaming a file and it decided for me that I was trying for a sentence - I need to see if it can be toned down.
Loving it so far! thanks
Thanks for posting this. Glad to see more themes.
I like it so far but I don't like how it inserts spaces after I choose a word and how there isn't a long press question mark key.

I was confused about the question mark too, but today I realized that if you swipe the period key to the left, it automatically uses the other available punctuation depending on how far you swipe. Pretty cool
It took some getting used to, but u love this feature now.

I didn't like that - I also don't know why they swapped the mic button and the number/symbol button. And there's no way I can find to turn off the aggressive parsing of one word/filename into a sentence.
I went back to the original Swiftkey - new is not always better

Well, it's a beta. Maybe it will get better. I love that the space bar is longer. That used to always trip me up. Plus I don't even need a space bar anymore. Lol.

Hey guys,
I just noticed this in my pictures yesterday. There is a purple line and what could be the edge of the camera lens showing up in the left corner of my pics. I haven't dropped the phone so I don't know why this issue has shown up recently. My note is about two months old give or take a week. I called customer service and they want me to factory reset my phone. I don't see how that will fix a possible hardware issue. So I have not done this yet. Any ideas or suggestions??
Thanks

First off welcome to XDA! It looks like a scratch to me where is it with landscape and portrait photos
That thought did cross my mind with the purple line. But what do you think the black line underneath the purple line could be??
The lines stay in the left corner in both portrait and landscape modes.
Thanks

Looks to me a small micro crack...can you shine a light on lens and see if its cracked? I had this issue on one of my old phones.
The lines would move to another corner in landscape mode versus portrait mode if it were something physically on the lens or the lens itself.
If they stay in the same corner, it's likely software. Try another camera app to test it.

That was the first thing I tried after noticing the problem. I physically don't see anything on the lens and I don't have a magnifying glass. I'm wondering if dirt has gotten behind the glass and lens. I usually store the phone in my back pocket when I'm not holding. Do you think a hard reset would work as customer support suggested?
Thanks
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
If the mark stays in the bottom left corner no matter which way you turn the phone, then yes, a software reset might help.
Is the line in the preview as well, or does it only appear after you take the image?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
It's in the preview too.
Update: the factory reset did not remove the line.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
So all other camera apps..show this mark on bottom left corner?..If you've attempted to instal a few different camera apps and they all do it on that corner..its most likely a scratch or dirt mark behind the actual lens itself...I don't think it has anything to do with software related.... trying different camera apps kida debunks that....but I could be wrong I've seen sone pretty weird stuff go on with phones..lol
I tried two different apps so far.

Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
It´s possible to create a similar looking statusbar, but you should care of what you asking for The android community is like "What you bought a S3 and now want a IOS theme? Burn!"
What? You bought an S3 and now you want iPhone status bar?! Burn!
awsome but still dont make it
Hahahah not the theme just a statusbar... that turns into navy blue when going into an app an kinda transparnt and has little rounded corners

Point for the OP may have been that the S3 is a much cooler phone and more powerful also. Oh, and the whole screen is bigger thing also. And then there is the whole Android is great and is capable of being customized to the hill. And can even be made to mimic whole or in part IOS. Fact of the matter here is that we all here love different thesis/looks for our devices. And if some of you might not have guessed, IOS has a theme of its own. And, some in here like that theme. Do I no. But that does not matter. All that matters is that the OP gets to what they came for as well as every one else here. So, on that note, Yeah!
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Honestly there's features on iPhone that I think are fantastic - that said, I'm still an Android fanatic. I'm not sure though why everyone's giving the OP a hard time.
To answer the question though, it's possible, but highly unlikely since we'd be working with closed-sourced software. There's no way to port the iPhone's status bar without an enormous amount of work. That said, you can still theme the status bar to similar likings. If Rompnit got my post in the Morphology section, you'll find additional signal bar icons that are based off the iPhone's.
For an iPhone style you just have to flash a MIUI ROM and install a iPhone theme.

Hello everyone
I didn't have screen guard installed but only the protective covering. Now it is scratched a lot and I wanna change it. Can I simply remove it and then install a new screen guard? And do non-stickey screen guards come for our phone? Even with least amount of sweat, screen gets sticky and its impossible to move finger over it. Any suggestions?
By non sticky I meant kinda ones we have on s3 and iphones
Yeah, You can simply remove it. Xperia x10 has something like plastic screen, so it will always be sticky and will stop responding with water on it

Hmm maybe, but I don't know what hardware it would use that we don't already have. It's just the front facing camera and gyroscope/accelerometer I believe. It sees you're looking at the screen then you tilt for it to scroll. So maybe it could be possible, but assuming the actual code for that was created by Samsung, it's probably close-sourced.
In that case, OP, don't you think something like this would've already existed before the GS4 if it could've been done? It's not really a revolutionary idea, but the coding itself may be pretty complicated. My guess is that if programming U.I. behavior based on the coordination of multiple sensors was within the capabilities of developers before Samsung threw money at it, then it would've been an app on the play store already.
Of course, I have no idea if that's the case regarding our XDA developers or Samsung's, I'm just guessing.
Its not the gyro it's a second Gen digitizer thst has some hardware build in can't recall the name momentarily but there is a Swype app that you can wave your hand up and down and it will scroll that uses the gyro
