Hello, I have a problem with the extended standby mode of my Sola.
It stops the clock from updating too. Because of this my alarms don't go off when the extended mode is active. I disabled the option that updates the clock by network, but didn't make any difference.
My device runs on latest official firmware and ICS, it is rooted.

I've loaded my gtab with 7.0 and all seems well however the battery stats show that phone idle is using 35%.
Is there a way to shutdown phone idle on the tab to prevent this? I've tried airplane mode but it doesn't seem to change the idle usage....rb
I have installed this ROM [ROM][MAR4]ExtremeLegendFuseâ„¢2|CustomCM7|FAST|CM9Music|STABLE |T9Dialer and i have found some strange behavior. If you disable LockScreen in CyanogenMod settings then the phone will not sleep after the screen is off by the timeout or after the power button have pressed. "Running" is more then 97% and battery drained very fast (40% per night roughly). If you enabled LockScreen - all will be good - 2% per night, the phone sleep's well! Because of this i can't use any lockscreens instead of stock lockscreen, very sad . My question - is this the standart behavior for CyanogenMod ROMs, or this is the bug of that (ExtremeLegendFuseâ„¢2) ROM only?
Doesn't seem to happen on cm 7.1.

Solved.
I flashed the latest CM 7.2 RC1 over that rom (no any wipe) and the problem disappeared. Now my phone sleeps very well.
Hello All,
Just thought I would mention this in case anybody experienced the issue like I did. Whenever I play music through bluetooth in my car whilst multitasking (having sat nav running for example) the audio would stutter for a split second every 10secs or so and it is very frustrating.
I have just got back from testing this stock firmware: Xperia S (LT26i) : 6.1.A.1.58 Generic TR (Turkey)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1823234
The audio stutter problem appears fixed - I was on the road for about 40mins with sat nav running and music playing and did not get a single stutter
I also applied this kernel (using fastboot) to get root and recovery: Advanced Stock ICS Kernel Build 13 [15/08/12]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1729280
and also this mod for the 14 button status bar toggles on the pull down menu: Quickpanel 14 Widget Status bar Inc Swipe Notification

I'll try this out when I can, next few days. I had the exact same problem, but I've not used my mw600 for a while now (due to this)
Not tried it on ka10.2 rom and the 5.1 kernel.
Out of curiosity what gov are you using with ics13 kernel, and what sort of battery life are you getting?

I am not using a modified governor or anything - just the default the kernel is set to when it is installed. Battery life is awesome, can get 2 day's use out of the phone (saying that I do have power saver active over night to turn all battery hogging features off - lose about 8% battery in 12 hours).

Another bugfix in this firmware for me is that the proximity sensor working correctly now! No call related problems so far (past one week) on the .58 build with sony stock kernel, also no problems with music playback using walkman app! But the phone still doesn't sleep as well as it should when idle, but it may have to do with the apps (esp google apps) than the os itself. And, of course, still the quicklaunch & bravia engine not functioning like they did in GB roms!

Recently I purchased my Galaxy S3, meanwhile updated to JB (4.1.1)
Excellent device, exact what I needed.. only the battery autonomy botters me:
Before my first usage I made sure the battery was fully loaded.. nevertheless I now experience rapid power drain..
Even no significant improvement when I disable as much as possible power consuming functionality:
-no wireless, no BT, no auto-sync, no thethering active, NFC & S-beam off
-network mode set to GSM only
-screen TO=15"
-wallpaper changed to black (with no wallpaper app)
-auto-contrast disabled + brightness set to min value
-power-saving option active
-no resident programs in task mngr
So TMHO the functionality is set to the utmost minimum.. but nevertheless the battery only lasts for a few hours..!
In the battery overview listing I see 'Screen' taking up 83%..
What else could be wrong??
In this way my fantastic smartphone is barely usable..
Pls advise
hello everyone,
I used to have great battery life on M4 aqua dual 16GB version E2333 with stamina mode on
it only dropped 1% per hour in idle mode, now it will fall a whole 4-5% in idle mode
the device is only 2 weeks old
the most recent changes I did were installing :
colornote
evernote
google keep
swiftkey beta
and I think I may have logged in facebook app but not sure if this was prior to battery fast drain or not
I checked power management in settings and it is not pointing any fingers toward any battery hogger application
I just need help on how to troubleshoot this and I swear that i will immediately make a full system backup
if it goes back to tiptop shape
I'm using stock android Build 26.1.B.2.147 not rooted

it doesnt seem to be consistent sometimes the battery will be minimal sometimes not i think it depends on what running in the background however the batery life is acceptable
I sleep 8-9 hours and my battery goes -4%. You should enable more STAMINA features and disable exceptions. You should delete Facebook app since you don't use it. If it doesn't help, considering your phone is not brand new, change your device's battery and don't let it go under 20%.
