Wireless printing stock alter? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

We all have noticed that samsung allows printing in most places on this device, but only to samsung printers.... can someone modify this script to allow all wireless printers like apple does?? I think this would be great and most people would be will to pay for it so we dont need to open another app and try and find the file and then print, or email it to printer. Kinda not productive... if anyone wants to work on this, I am willing to help in any way I can. If not, this thred can be deleted. Just figured I would throw it out there

Remote view one android device from another

I've been searching around for this for a while, and haven't come up with anything google or xda or otherwise, however, if I am blind, enlighten me please
I am looking for a way to remote desktop my android phone (atrix) from my honeycomb tablet. Preferably over LAN, as I only really do it at home but not really close enough for bluetooth, however with bluetooth I could make do. Something like what the atrix can do with the dock would be nice.
Any Ideas?
Are you rooted? Vnc viewer on one and server on the other would work

Printing on the Prime

How do you print from the Prime and what software and printer do you use? I am thinking of buying the Prime, but I must be able to print emails and web pages.
Many thanks
It looks like Wi-Fi Direct (a new feature on ICS) will allow printing using a Wi-Fi compatible printer, but there are also a lot of apps that do this (ie CloudPrint).
Where do you find this?

I use PrinterShare (in Market). I had this for my old tablet (Viewsonic Gtab) and it works well. My old HP LJ4 has a JetDirect network card, so I don`t have to have a PC sharing to use it.
WiFi direct is the feature he was talking about. Something thats supposed to be baked into ics.nothing to do with a seperate app.

Exactly - if he had a clue he would know that you do not search the market for something that is supposedly a built-in feature of ics, so his witty insight is pretty much useless. Wi-fi Direct was mentioned as something new in ics, does anyone have any additional details on this?

On my phone I use "PrinterShare Mobile Print" combined with a Brother 2070N printer. My computer doesn't need to be on or have anything installed since my printer is connected directly to my router. The app simply allows me to print pretty much anything from my phone. I got it free during one of Amazon's free paid apps of the day. It's kind of spendy otherwise.
I haven't tried it on ICS or the Prime yet but it works fine on an Evo Shift and a Nexus S 4G.

Use search. Google is your friend.

1. Search before posting.

[Q] Printing app

Is it possible to get a printing app for the Galaxy SIII which can print directly from the web and all your documents? The ones I can find can only print out pictures, screenshots and scanned documents.
Printershare is good
+1 for printershare.
Don't need anything else.
Does exactly what you need.
Expensive but worth it.

Thank you guys, looks good. But as you say a bit expensive.
I use cypria, I can't remember if its only for Epson tho.

I tried printer share but only free version then found Cloud Print, it uses Chrome's built in printer sharing and works perfectly, and it's free. I'd definitely recommend it over printer share

Has anyone tried an Android Mirroring cable?

Saw this video about android mirroring but wasn't too sure if it is useful. This cable will be going on sale today but I have not heard of anyone using a cable like this.

I guess one of the benefits would be to hook your phone up to it at work and pretend to be working on the computer while you are actually texting or playing poker. I dunno.
i used to be able to do something similar over bluetooth or wifi a few years back, but i have yet to find the program i used, and i will assume you would need to be rooted. its a cool idea in many ways, but its use i feel is more of a cool or sneaky factor.
Yeah, I am hard pressed to find a really good reason to buy one. Being cool is a good reason though.

Now there is Airdroid in Google Play. Free app that does not need root and is very cool. Works over WiFi.

The root method your probably thinking of is called screen casting using droid explorer. Pretty useful if you work in a strict office environment.

Nook app on Android Note 10.1 (yes, I know, backwards, but read on...)

I know this is probably backwards, considering most are trying to port Android to the Nook, but I figured this would be the best place to start as extensive Googling is getting me nowhere.
I was finally able to get a Note 10.1 and ditch the apple world, however, the one and only downsife I have found is one app that I can't get on Android. The BrainQuest app, a fun quizzing app that I use for my gradeschool kids. They love it, but for some unbeknownst reason to me, the company has made an iPad app and a Nook app, but no Android app. My guess is that Barnes & Noble solicited themselves to BrainQuest, not that it really matters. I am just wish it was available for Android.
That said, is there any way to port a Nook app to an Android tablet? I didn't know if there was some way to drop an .apk file like you do with Android apps, or maybe even some kind of virtual port?
Thanks,
Roger

I would imagine it's just a normal app, so should be able to install the apk if you can find it, back it up from a Nook, etc. It's possible there B&N framework at play, or that the app won't work or look right, but not sure.
That was my thoughts too, however, I dont have a Nook i could retrieve it from, so I am womdering if there is a way to get it from the B&N app store or if anyone would be willing to get the free trials and pluck them out for me? There are 5 total.
