Quick question. :P - HTC Amaze 4G

I'm running Cyanogenmod 10 and I'm wondering if there was a way to change the LED light color from the usual green and orange?
Sent from my Amaze 4G using xda premium i

Actually there is a way.
Take your phone apart and replace the diodes to different colors. Then blammo customized diodes..

You are not very good at trolling. You were at one time I will admit, but you have been slacking.
Anyway, no mods as of yet, but I did ask Nitroz to port his theme over and he said he would.

wifi calling icon
What about theming the WiFi calling status bar icon? I don't know if its just me, but ever since the OTA WiFi calling update, the WiFi calling icon on my status bar is quite pixely! Any input is appreciated
That's easy, just flash a theme, if your using stock then flash a Status bar, if your not rooted, do that first

[Q] Whats a good steady rom for the galaxy note?

Hey im just looking for a steady rom for the note that also supports the network mode settings that you can switch between 3g and 4g because the at&t stock rom doesnt support it if there is a good steady rom with the setting let me know thanks
Its not the ROM, its the modem that restricts band and mode switching. Any at&t modem has the restriction.
But I tried other modems and none of them worked or even showed that option and Max did say there is a rom that has the setting so there is a rom

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Dial *#2263# to get the service menu. If your modem allows it ( no carrier restriction ) you can change the mode or band there, whether the ROM has the setting or not.
Again, its got nothing to do with the ROM -- its the modems that don't allow it.

Not to threadjack at all, but i was going to ask this same question, minus the switching between 3G and 4G. So rather than start a new thread please offer advice for a good stable rom with little lag experience. That is my sole interest, all other preferences i suppose i will have to find out on my own won't i! Thanks guys!
EDIT: i did decide to try the RootBox ROM for now. We'll see how that goes. Thanks for the tip shayne
I 2nd Blackstar X, used it for months without issue. I have been using the Collective as of late and it too is a great ROM but requires a little more hand holding.

For me it takes 6 hours to fully charge using wall outlet.
But then I was on 4.2.2 I could get it charged in just 2 hours.

Yes it has that setting. And of course, the setting does nothing as long as the modem is restricted. Jeeeez, give it a rest!

3.4 Kernel *BUMP* thread.

Hello everyone!

I was thinking the exact same thing... getting too much notifications about activity on the thread whereas it is just discussion and general things, So I took the liberty of making this thread so that @sportsstar89 and all the other developers can spend more time working and less on replying ETA and general questions in dev area! Rather it's just a BUMP thread here so we can ask @sportsstar89 about his football and school routine I guess and so rest of Amaze4G forum stops frantically rushing to the Ruby 3.4 Kernel thread.
P.S. @kusso92 @ezdi I am as anxious as you guys are!!
Ciao!
In my honest opinion, Sports should just LOCK the 3.4 kernel thread until he is ready for something so no one posts useless crap on it. it takes only ONE person to bump it all the way to the top of the thread list. People don't understand.
That's just what I think. There's developers that have to deal with a lot of OT on their threads so they occasionally lock it to let it cool down. Then they unlock it.
Edit: Also, I don't see how this is going to help. Sorry to burst your bubble, Huzaifa.
Bump lol
