[Q] How to Extract Saved Words from Xperia Keyboard? - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hello Friends i have a serious Doubt....
i m using ics ROM and Xperia ICS keyboard..And i have saved loads of custom words in Xperia S keyboard( beccause my native language isnt English)... Now is there any way to copy these Saved Words to GingerBread xperia Keyboard or Xperia T keyboards??? If so i would happily Change my ROM From ICS to GB...
PS- i have titanium backups for the keyboard's data (words)

If you can do a backup with titanium backup from the data, you could try another rooted phone/tablet, restore it and see if the data's there. But I'm not sure if it will work, maybe the data is linked to the ics xperia s keyboard and you can't use them in gb or xperia t. If it's possible try it on another device.
Or you just do a cwm backup, flash gingerbread, root it and restore the titanium backup data. If it works you can be lucky, if not you restore the cwm backup and you have all your data on ics back and you can think of other steps

"Xperia keyboard" saves the user defined words at:
(data\data\com.sonyericsson.textinput.uxp) folder
We can backup it, but I was unable to restore it , Does anyone know , how to restore this back.?

you will have to also copy files from system/framework of official ICS to MiniCM rom other than keyboard apk

If you go to the MiniCM thread and on the 1st post, I think Kamrush put a link to download the Xperia keyboard. You can try that? Its the same keyboard from the Generic ICS port.

Xperia Ice Cream Pureness[Build 11][ICS 4.0.4][Neo]

After i flash this rom i am satisfy with it but on the half way i recover all my apps with titanium backup, it will just stop(i thk that is the storage problem which is not enough to install all the apps. After that i try to move those apps to sd card for more internal storage, then i m trying to install some apk file but unfortunately it cant be install anymore. I saw that still have 200+ mb left in internal storage but the installation process will be stop at the half way no matter whats the app i am install. So, i wish to know is it the bug of the rom?
sorry for my bad english

No cm9 isn't the reason! You should try link2sd like gencho has said..... Bt u can try doing a factory reset or try reinstalling the rom! Maybe its just a bad flash bug!

Make sure you are not installing any system app from the previous rom. Installing system app is not as easy as a click. you will get error like "application not installed".
moreover there is not such bug in the rom.
everyday i look at your rom my day is coming soon
I use Pureness (build 11). It's works perfectly, but I can't create a folder on the homescreen.
I want to know this, please it might be off topic,
what will happen if someone do factory reset on a phone after installing any Rom or kernel?

[Q] X10 Mini data before and after flashing rom.

Hi there, I'm a new user of xdadevelopers and am thinking about upgrading my X10 Mini with a custom rom. However, I have a few questions and would be grateful to anyone who could help me.
The first question is, when I back up everything (apps, calendar, system settings, etc.) will certain apps like the calendar, messages, call log, alarms and notes (basically all the system apps) will their data still work after I have restored it on the phone once I have flashed the rom?
Secondly, will my apps (like Angry Birds, Unblock Me, Peggle, etc.) retain their data once I have reinstalled them after flashing the rom?
And my last question is if there is a difference between these two roms: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068553 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151499 ? It's just I'm a bit confused with the pictures. In addition, if there is a difference (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151499 looks a bit more appealing) are there any instructions for this rom?
Thanks

Hi Empat (if I can call u that) thanks for you reply.
However about backing up things like the messages, I also mean about the calendar, notes, etc. (basically system app data) I was wondering if you could back up those too and if they would be compatible with the new system apps after flashing the rom.
And, um, do those backup apps u've just mentioned, do they come at a price?
Thanks

Restoring Camera Image Quality in Xperia U (ST25i)

Hi/Hello,
I have a Xperia U (ST25i) ROOTED, Unlocked BOOTLOADER . TA partition is not backed up. So my camera quality decreased(digital noises are present) . Is there a way to restore only the Image quality (I know DRM keys ,not possible to restore) by flashing some .ftf or zip or replacing some ".so " or .apk files in library ?
(As camera quality restoring is possible in case of xperia Z series which available in XDA at http://forum.xda-developers.com/cros...s-drm-t2930672 I am hopping it is possible to restore for Xperia U by some modified TA ).
Thanks

No, you have to reinstall Xperia Keyboard in order to retrieve the backup you have when using XKB.
