Lol, @Galaxy hope ur aware the ur a 'Senior Member' (with 600 posts) on XDA not a 'Newbie' anymore for now
PS- u can always use Third party apps from stores to Controll 'Mobile Data usage' by restricting the apps that seek the same

His evil twin is askin these questions.
Cast him out!

Install windows 8 on Samsung galaxy II

Hi there,
Is it possible to install windows 8 on Samsung galaxy II?
After trying Android for the past 3 months I can surly say that it is not such good OS.
It’s full of bugs and keeps crashes all the time.
If it is not possible to install windows 8 on it will it be possible to install Symbian instead…
Regards,
Sep

At least it`s not possible now. If you want Windows 8, sell your device and buy a Windows Phone.
For me it`s the other way around, I think that Windows 8 is pretty ugly compared to Android. And Android doesn`t crash all the time, at least not on my device.

Even if it could happen, OP, it wouldn't work nearly as well as the Android OS you're trying to get rid of.

Is your ROM really Omega? Doesn't look like a samsung based rom. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

go to about device and see what your Build Number says.
it doesn't look like an omega rom.that or just take a screenshot of your about device screen

There are two OMEGA versions, AOKP and Sammy Based.
You flashed AOKP which removes everything sammy based including popup play, smartstay etc. (Including powersaving, a samsung addon)
You need to download and flash the sammy based OMEGA.
Then in that case, which is better?
personal preference. try it and see which one you prefer. there is no "better rom" out there.

it wants your phonenumber and the similarity leads to the question: which one should i use? all 3 or just one...
