how do i do that exactly?
Is this just an untouched device, that you have not currently flashed anything to? I've heard of this with galaxy sii. You can learn fastboot and adb, and re-install a rom which is similar or exactly the factory version. Otherwise, it sounds like a warranty claim. Maybe try getting to your recovery, wiping cache and/ or a factory reset, then see if it boots?

I was following the phone unlocking guide in a sub-forum got my unlock code, powered off, inserted a different sim, powered on. I didn't get a request for a code; phone started up fine except no network access. I got a message a short while after something like android.phone stopped working.
Turned the phone off, put original sim back in and turned the phone on. All the phone will do is flicker the backlight every couple of seconds. 3-button recovery will take me to "Downloading..." and sit there. Flashing to Gingerbread using Odin will get to the RESET and phone will power off and phone will sit there screen flashing as before.
Anything I can do to resolve this?

Yep, I just done that. Now the phone will not power on at all. It will show as a device in Odin and Device Manager but no power comes up. It will not even go into recovery either.

Hey!
Firstly: For me worked(not in unlock, but in some other cases, where other soft fails) the STOCK ..XXKC1. Try to flash it. Dose you put you phone in to "Download" mode for Odin?
Where you get that UNLOCK? From here?
These are the questions, what I want answers. Maybe after that I can say surely.
TIA!

I was following the guide [TUTORIAL]How to Network Unlock Samsung Galaxy Ace Via ADB. Phone didn't ask for unlock code when I put a Vodafone sim in my o2-locked Ace. Shortly after putting the Vodafone sim in it said something like Android.phone force closed.
I can flash any firmware but so far the phone will not boot. The screen will just flash after flashing firmware and I can put it in Downloading recovery but nothing else happens so far.
Could it be something to do with the phone storage being screwed up? I followed the tutorial word for word and got my code and everything.

Go back to that thread and ask in there.

I,m The owner of the Unlocking post and i feel like i need to help, Last night i was "Playing" ClockWork Recovery and i touched the "Fix Permissions" option, the phone got stucked and i waited like 10 minutes and nothing happend so i long pressed the power button for a hard reset and when the phone turned on it made the same thing that your did, it sended me a message like yours and the phone started acting weird, and throw me a lot of other error messages so i rebooted the phone and the same, so i entered the recovery again and made a wipe/data and calvik cache, turned the phone back on and problem solved, if it does not work try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071970 and you can install a custom rom wich is better than stock, i suggest FirstUA-ROM, i hope this was helpfull and im sorry that this happens to your phone.

Hi mate. Thanks for dropping in. I cannot enter recovery; the phone just does what happens in the OP - it just flashes. I can only enter 3-button recovery. So far I've tried 5 different firmware 2 Froyo (inc stock) and 3 different Gingerbreads found droidangel.blogspot.com/2011/05/samsung-galaxy-ace-s5830-original-stock.html. Will try a custom firmware but otherwise will try and take the phone back to o2 tomorrow.

Hey!
Dont take it back to SERVICE, before you not get flashed back to STOCK firmware or they can MAYBE, see that you not in stock firmware. Just saying it, that you DONT get in to trouble, with warranty.
CHEERS!
Yeah too it into o2 this morning. Luckily the dipshits that work there don't know anything. He just plugged it into his laptop and ran Kies. It's being sent off though. Hopefully will be sorted in warranty for free
Hello,
To solve this problem, did you activate the warranty?
I have the same problem, none of the existing ROM work, or find another solution?
I appreciate the help,
mscofield07
Yeah; I sent it back for warranty. They replaced the main PCB.
Can we unlock locked SGA? ?

Sounds like you soft brick your tab. Looks like your gonna need to whip out the PC and find PC version ODIN even though the screen stuck on flicker it will still connect well at least it did when I soft bricked my SGS 2. Well good luck guy I knw I had a few days of fun when I was trying to fix mine.
Oh ya one more important thing check in your device form in Q & A Chechen sticky always a lot of useful stuff or might even find a quick fix from fellow XDA fanatic like me.

Not sure if you are still stuck, but if you boot into recovery and then clear cache and user data it stopped the boot looping for me...

In theory you can switch off the tab and plug it to charge. It should charge as you do not hard brick it. If you can slash your tab via Odin, try to flash it two times, one by one not letting it to boot android and samsung logo after the first flash. After the second flash, reboot and hold the volume - button till you get into stock recovery mode. then wipe data and wipe cash. then reboot again.
Guys I need your help. Since some days, all time when my phone starts it is stuck. Frist the Samsung Galxy S II thing, then this purple samsung circle with blinking samsung after that, then screen off (maybe 1-2 seconds) and then again this Samsung Galaxy S II thing. It there it stucks.
I always flashed a new rom, but after some hours same there.
Edit: After replace sim card and battery it stucks at Samsung Galaxy S II screen, without Blinking Samsung

Reboot into recovery and re-flash rom and/or wipe data/factory reset.
Also, its customary when asking for help to give relevant information like what rom/kernel you're currently on or trying to flash etc etc. Basically just give people more info then simply "hey phone isnt working".

As I said previously, Wipe data/factory reset.
AW: [Q] Device not starting since restart -.-
But so I have to install all my apps again
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
I got a similar problem to this on Wanam 14.0 just a few days ago after I flashed the new phil Kernel, essentially just an infinite bootloop which isn't fixed by just turning the phone on/off. As previously said, I fixed it by just wiping data and flashing Wanam again (and hey, I didn't spam the forum with a stupid thread about an issue solved by using my squishy brain box thing for like 30 seconds).
Boo hoo if you lose all your XXX free porn apps, its better than not having a phone.

Pls don't say it was 4.0.4 ics? ? Never ever do a factory reset with that as has brick bug. Some say its kernel some say software but either way you should never do this.

Just rooted my Samsung mega sgh-i527 and it was working for two days until I decided to unlock new fonts in the ROM. Stupid decision knowing that I didnt do my research. Now when rebooting it just stay on the loading white screen not allowing me to access anything. I try to hold-power+volume+home screen button to reset my date and cache and then reboot the phone which I thought it might work. But it didn't. I have read a little about if this occur then its consider a "dead phone"and I might as well just purchase a new one. If this is true then I am pretty Fu*k. If anyone knows anything about this issue please HELP. Donation will be given out . THX.

I am lost and can not seem to find a stock recovery ROM for the phone. Nothing came up after hours of research especially for my att phone samsung mega sgh-i527.
