Hello guys.
I have an sgs2 (unrooted) and today i downloaded the JB update.
After it had installed, it rebooted the phone but now it is stuck at the boot screen at the white text "Samsung SII 19100".
I let it be that way for an hour, nothing changed so i forced it to shutdown and tried to reboot but it still gets stuck at same spot.
What should i do?
edit:
flashed with odin this frimware:

and my phone works again.
Ensure the phone is turned off, then boot into recovery by pressing and holding Vol up + home + power button. Do a factory wipe and try booting up again

Hi! All. My phone started acting wierd last week. It randomly shuts down & reboots & gets stuck at the black screen with the name & model no. I tried taking out battery & putting it back but after a few days, the problem returns. Btw my set is rooted on stock rom. Any ideas how to solve?
try booting into recovery (vol up+home+power) and factory reset
I recently flashed Lineage OS 14.1 based Android 7.1.1 for SG3. everything worked fine at the begining a few days later i tried to boot on safe mode. So i press power button and keep pressing of "POWER OFF" until it pops up a text says ("safe mode will disable all third-party...) and then i clicked ok but when booting it doesn't boot the system so it stucks on Samsung Galaxy S3 screen (logo) and then it turns off itself. I also tried pulling up the battery for a while but it didn't work, the rom is official from lineage page.
PS: i flashed the rom twice after this problem happened but i boot again to safe mode and the same scinareo HELP ME PLEASE!
Apparently keep tapping menu as you boot up.. Failing that go back to stock via odin and start over.

Okay so i have been using my s6 edge for a while and got bored with the stock rom and the root was successful but when i flashed twrp onto it i rebooted and it stays on the Galaxy S6 Edge sreen (the one before the flashing samsung logo) it also says "kernel is not seandroid enforcing " but just stays on this screen until the batter dies out i have tried using odin and odin can't read it i tried samsung kies but that can't read it either so i have deemed my pc useless in this situation
really need this phone to work so any advice would be much appreciated

Can you get into download mode or recovery mode?
If you can get into recovery mode then wipe data/cache.
If you can get to download mode flash stock firmware and start again.
To get into recovery hold only down and power for 10 seconds, as soon as the screen goes off to reboot switch to recover combo, home and up amd power for 20 seconds until it boots to recovery. Try that first.

this is where my problem begins the home button on the phone clicks but doesn't work the fingerprint sensor still works fine thats it so i was using adb commands from the terminal to boot it into recovery/download mode but now it just gets to the galaxy s6edge screen then just stays there so my computer can't read it so its stuck
I tried posting in the VZW Note 5 section but hardly any people on there anymore and no responses yet.
My bone stock note 5 is stuck in a bootloop. This happened randomly one day while I was just using the phone. When I turn the phone on, the samsung logo appears and then flashes the blue recovery screen for a split second, only to reboot and back to the samsung logo. This repeats itself endlessly.
What I've tried:
Downloaded the correct version of Odin and successfully flashed the newest firmware (QA1). It passes Odin fine. Phone reboots only to do the same thing as before.
Tried turning off "auto reboot" in Odin, flashed stock firmware again. Once successful, I shut down the phone (volume down + power button). I then hold down volume up, home and power button until samsung logo appears, release power button (to get into recovery). It again, flashes a blue recovery screen for a split second and starts the boot loop all over again.
I am no expert but it seems like something is corrupted in the recovery which is why I cannot get into it. Even after flashing the stock firmware. I'm trying to get into the recovery after flashing the firmware so I can wipe cache and do factory reset, but I cannot get in.
Any idea what I can try next?
Thanks for any help/suggestions!
Have you tried flashing another firmware?

I've tried several, I got it to boot up with QB9 but it stays stuck at the verizon logo
And it doesn't go into recovery too on QB9?

After you flash stock firmware, the first boot can take 15-30 minutes so leave it a little while
