Boot loop, cannot get into recovery - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I tried posting in the VZW Note 5 section but hardly any people on there anymore and no responses yet.
My bone stock note 5 is stuck in a bootloop. This happened randomly one day while I was just using the phone. When I turn the phone on, the samsung logo appears and then flashes the blue recovery screen for a split second, only to reboot and back to the samsung logo. This repeats itself endlessly.
What I've tried:
Downloaded the correct version of Odin and successfully flashed the newest firmware (QA1). It passes Odin fine. Phone reboots only to do the same thing as before.
Tried turning off "auto reboot" in Odin, flashed stock firmware again. Once successful, I shut down the phone (volume down + power button). I then hold down volume up, home and power button until samsung logo appears, release power button (to get into recovery). It again, flashes a blue recovery screen for a split second and starts the boot loop all over again.
I am no expert but it seems like something is corrupted in the recovery which is why I cannot get into it. Even after flashing the stock firmware. I'm trying to get into the recovery after flashing the firmware so I can wipe cache and do factory reset, but I cannot get in.
Any idea what I can try next?
Thanks for any help/suggestions!

Have you tried flashing another firmware?

I've tried several, I got it to boot up with QB9 but it stays stuck at the verizon logo

And it doesn't go into recovery too on QB9?

Bricked phone?

I recently tried to flash myth's ROM on my Galaxy Ace. After flashing was completed, I rebooted the phone but it was stuck on the very first boot screen that has SAMSUNG and www.samsung.com written under it. I can't access recovery but I can access download. I tried reflashing CWM, I get PASS in ODIN but still can't boot into recovery. Any ideas?
Press the following buttons
Power key+home key

I know how to get into recovery. But for some reason, the phone won't even let me go into recovery. It's stuck at the bootlogo. Gonna try flashing through odin...

another phone won't boot thread

Phone took a dump today. Was fine, then shut down, then wouldn't boot past boot screen. Enter safestrap, wipe all, no boot. Odin to stock mj9, no boot. Factory reset after doing in stock recovery, no go. After Odin the phone will get to the Verizon splash screen then shut down. Subsequent attempts to boot after that will not make it past the Samsung logo. It doesn't stick there, it just shut off. Odin completes succesfully. Any ideas?

Sounds like a partition curroption..Have you tried using Heimidall and flashing each image separately?
Also, you might want to bring it Verizon tell them it won't turn on..
But you can try what I suggested above..

Samsung logo blinking for 1-2 min before booting.

My phone is NOT on bootloop or brick. But instead every time I restart or on my phone the Samsung logo blinks for a while(1-2min) before it boots up. Tried looking up but cannnot find any answer. I am on Cyanogenmod ver. 10.
I tried to go in to recovery but cannot it keeps flashing on samsung logo. (all my buttons are working fine) I have CWM recovery. Just it just flash/blink for a while then restart again.
Is it a Hardware problem ? Please help!
You turned off your phone till it vibrates/pull out battery and then volume up+home+power button for about 20 minutes?

Sounds like it can also be because of software problem, most likely some form of corruption that causes the Samsung boot logo to reappear continuously. Try flashing a different rom and see if it helps or clean install the rom again

S6 Edge Stuck in bootloop - can't flash stock rom

UPDATE: I got stock firmware flashed on it, but as soon as it finished, it just stuck in the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge boot screen, and it won't even allow me to access recovery mode so I can wipe cache and whatnot. I'm running out of patience with this brick of a phone. It just goes straight to the same boot screen, not allowing me to get to the recovery mode. Are there any alternative ways to enter recovery mode, or alternative ways to wipe cache and partition? Please, any advice is welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
Try different odin version and cable before you messing with pit.

I had tried using three different versions of Odin, 3.07, 3.09, 3.106. I also used multiple cords and multiple versions of stock roms. And still, no success. It won't even stay off, every time it juices up, or is plugged in, it goes straight to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge boot screen and stays there.
Mind you, I am not too familiar with anything outside of stock roms, some custom roms and rooting. Have not tested out much more than that. Any noob-friendly advice would be welcomed.
I had nand write start error once during downgrading my s6 from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1. I just tried odin 3.10 and it got flashed successfully. I was lucky then.

Well, I finally got one of the firmwares to work, it ran through Odin and everything just fine, but after it was done, it basically did the same thing, it stayed on the Samsung black screen, except without the red writing at the top..

Enter recovery and factory reset

I can't access recovery, the phone won't turn off, so as soon as it has any source of battery life, it just goes straight to the samsung boot screen and stays there.
Hold vol down+power button for 15-20sec. As soon as it reboot, hold vol up+power+home button to enter recovery.

I've tried that at least 50-ish times now, It just does not work, I tried it with a second or two delay, I tried it immediately after screen turns off, tried it so many times. No matter how long I hold them down for, it just stays at the boot screen. I can get to download mode just fine, but for some reason recovery seems to not be working.
is it a bootloop (it keeps restarting or it is frozen on samsung logo) ?
if bootloop you can try: plug in power corde. press and hold both volume buttons + home + power untill it shuts down. unplug power corde. press and hold home volume down and power for download mode. get another rom and flash it.
Hi i am having exactly the same problem can boot to download but not recovery, let the phone run out of battery and as soon as you plug it in again bootloop, i was running crisscross marshmallow rom ,custom kernel i have a backup but am not sure what or how to flash correctly in Odin any help would be much appreciated thanks .
Edit flashed firmware from sammobiles worked a treat .
Any updates on this?
I have this exact problem however I never attempted rooting my phone or changing anything on the firmware, I was on YouTube when my s6 edge crashed then entered boot loop, I CANNOT ACCESS recovery mode ,but I can access Odin mode. WTF everything is stock on my phone, never even heard of 'bootloop, Odin mode' before this happened .or even had to access my recovery mode on my s6. As I search the web for help I find solutions that require recovery mode, but I can access it. Apparently bootloop happens when people try to root but I never tired that. I don't even know what that is!
This just happened to my S6. Was watching YouTube then it crashed and entered a boot loop, can't access recovery, only download mode.

Can you get into download mode or recovery mode?
If you can get into recovery mode then wipe data/cache.
If you can get to download mode flash stock firmware and start again.
To get into recovery hold only down and power for 10 seconds, as soon as the screen goes off to reboot switch to recover combo, home and up amd power for 20 seconds until it boots to recovery. Try that first.
