Can anyone tell me what HOLO means. I do theming and I dont know what HOLO means.
Please explain it
Thanks
That's the name of the ui android uses, apart from that nothing else comes to mind. There is also a launcher named holo. I never really got into theming so I'm probably missing something.
I do believe it's also a color that that the android ui uses in jb.

I thought it was the layout?

So I really like the ribbon notifications in Miui roms but I'm nota fan of the room itself. There's a icon pack that I really like called miui suave hd and was wondering if there is anyway to implement the ribbon notifications in an aosp Rom? I know there are some themes like label theme that use ribbons but It would be cool if there was an app or system setting that would allow this irrespective of the theme used in t mobile theme chooser. I don't mean the icons them self, I'm using apex so i got that covered. Thanks.
Edit: Here's the icons i was talking about. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330577

I had asked this in a different part of the forums but then realized this is probably where it belongs. I'm looking for a clockwork/steampunk clock and weather widget. I have yet to find one I like. I downloaded UCCW and tried messing with it but I'm not very good at it. Is there anyone out there that has designed their own or know of any?
Also how would I get different icons without using a whole theme or downloading a new launcher? I'm running on the Liquid smooth JB ROM and I like the included launcher.

Wow, it's nice to know someone is doing a good job on customization. May I know the apps you used for the notification center, gallery, dialer, contacts, and settings? I really can't stand stock Samsung JB.

I wanted to know if there were any themes that had every single icon/widget that is totally clear. Yes I do also have Team Black's stuff.

you can use their ROM, alliance v6 which has transparent framework. besides that you're not going to find much other transparent stuff besides that ROM and their cleared out apps.
Of course you can also use an aftermarket launcher to set the transparency of your app drawer. Also most popular widget sets such as beautiful widgets pro lets you make their widgets transparent.

Hi. I love having KitKat because is the most recent version of Android, but I also like classic Donut/Cupcake appearance, like launcher, statusbar, color scheme, etc.
Is this possible?
Oh! Before I forget, I want Froyo lockscreen too.
Thanks in advanced.

Wow, you take it REALLY old school. Best answer I could give you (and I'm not a genius by far) is to see if any of the launcher apps (Nova, Apex, etc) have a Donut/Cupcake icon pack, and use Xposed to create the rest of the look (Xblast will do most of what you are looking for including status bar, changing some of the system colors, etc). Not sure if XLockY will do Froyo lockscreen, but I haven't played with that module too much.
