I'm having trouble downoading apps. I have plenty of space on my device. It says error downloading so and so app code 920. I have 7gb of space on my device and 26gb on my sd card. I restarted my phone. Powered it off and even did a battery pull and I still get the same error

Couple things I saw were to clear play store cache, and turn Wifi off then back on.

I got this same thing on both my kid's cheap chinese tablets when I loaded gapps on them. Long story short, the convoluted way I got them to work was to go to the play store app, add a second gmail account and set it as the active account. Reboot device and switch back to the other account adn delete the second account. For whatever reason, this works, and they have never gotten the play store error again. YMMV, but good luck anyhow.
Later,
Jason
I cleared the cache and did a force close from the application manager

If running a custom ROM, try a new download and fresh install. If not rooted, root then try custom ROM.

this also happen to me a few times and clearing cache and framework didn't fix it.
I resolved this by removing TB (probably already removed and you are trying to install back in). I then use RootExplorer to manually pushed the TB apk in system/app. Reboot phone. Once installed, go to G Play and update to newest version if you don't have it already.
Had to do another full wipe after just doing one this morning!

It's a known issue, sometimes it goes away, sometimes you gotta reload your rom completely.

not necessarily true, you can install an older version of market to fix it. Worked for me as a last resort

I've gotten this error before when i changed my password on my account via my admin account (google apps for domains) and google would than lock my purchase ability in google wallet until i proved its me because my admin account changed the password and had possibly taken over my account on me..

That works temporarily, when the market auto update itself, it comes right back. Trust me, I tried
The guy above's post reminds me of a fix, wipe the cache of the apps, market, etc. Then log out of your google account, reboot, wipe them again then sign in back into your gmail account, should fix it.
He's right just remove your google account and add it again it should fix. Had this happen to me 2 days ago.
Android Market Helper

This app tricks the app store into thinking you have a different device, a Nexus 7 for instance.
This doesn't change your build prop and using it is dead simple. Run it, choose the device you wish to emulate from the drop down list.
click the link for google dashboard, which registers the device as the one you are emulating. Go to play store, download the app you want.
When you're done, reboot the tablet or go back to the mrket helper app and choose restore.
It works as advertised.
Very nice i will have to give it a try when i get my kindle back.. Sooo many apps available now!! Stoked!!
Nice find.
To bad you have to be rooted it said that in later versions it will work for unrooted devices so I will keep it and wait for the update great find man
sent from my unrooted kindle fire hd
Thanks, will check it out later
Edit: Love this app, can download loads of previously "incompatible" apps.
Doesn't work
it seems like I run the app, do all the steps but it doesn't change the configuration in the play store
Same here

Are you logging in to the Google dashboard and verifying the emulated device is listed? I use nexus 7. Works fine for me.

I can confirm this one works, it allow me to install angry birds from the playstore, otherwise it marks as not compatible with my device. looks like i can get rid of the 1mobile market.
Excellent App
Great app. Works perfectly. I just need to find a way to get Sky Go working on my 7" Kindle Fire HD and I'll be a happy boy.:good:
Hmmm. Just crashes for me. Weird. I'll wait for version 2.0
Token not found?
What seems to be the problem if my error window pops up on my KFHD and says "token not found"?
Awesome find, thanks for sharing.

Works great! No problems, awesome!
I tried registering as both Samsung Galaxy and Nexus for two different apps. I get the message "insufficient storage is available" each time. What could I be doing wrong? Storage is not the problem, I have plenty.
Probably unrelated go into settings and remove data for the play store that should fix it

Turns out I had a couple of lingering odex files under data/app. It had nothing to do with this app. Deleted those out, tried again and everything worked great. Thanks!

Anyone else having issues with this, I noticed today Google pushed out version 3.10.14 of the Play Store now it's doesn't seem to work any more, tried clearing the data/cache from the Play Store & checking my Google Account & it shows the change in device but apps still remain incompatible from the app & the web versions.
Edit: Well, installing/pushing apps from the web version seems to be working now, but not from the actual device, better than nothing I guess.
Edit 2: That was short lived, not working again, says apps are compatible but grey's the device out even with Nexus 7 set as device.
Edit 3: Market Helper v1.1 released today! Now stuff works again
Hey guys. Just want to say my GN II is awesome. Now to my question... My friend text me and said he just got the GN II and when he downloads an app from the market aka play store, it doesn't show up on his phone. He can see it under downloaded when he is in the play store but if he tries to open it, nothing happens. I never heard ran across this issue before. I haven't looked at the phone myself but just wanted to see if anyone had this issue and knows what it is and how to fix it. My first thoughts was to factory reset and if that didn't work return to store. Then again it might be user error.

First, I would try clearing playstore data in the settings menu.

Looks like it was a bad sd card. Thanks for your input.

I got a replacement phone and had this issue after rooting/s-off. On Sense ROM's no problems. On AOSP/AOKP ROM's I get no connection to Play Store. So I ran REV3NT3CH's downgrade/upgrade guide and all went well. Flashed TWRP 2.6.3.0 and wiped all but micro sd manually 3x. Flashed Tachyon 1.2....same problem. Google sync works but no connection to Play Store. Restored Sundream ROM and it works. I'm at a total loss. Makes no sense. Any help would be appreciated.

Ummm... This ones tricky...how many devices do you have (or Google THINKS you have active) associated with your Google login? There is a limit of 10... Different ROMs in the same device can be seen as different devices in some cases.
Also, have you tried making a new Google account and trying that?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Thanks man. Just getting ready to try that. Fingers crossed

Didn't work. I even added a new account and my phone won't register with google. But I do have a new gmail account that works. And the calendar and contacts sync. Play store refuses to see my phone. I'm so confused.

So just to double check, you did a factory reset, or at the very least cleared data on the Play Store app, and removed your existing Google account from the phone, then started the Play Store and nothing?
Are you restoring data via TiBu or something similar when you install these ROMs, or does it do this on a clean install?
Did you go to the Play Store on a PC and click on the Settings Cog icon in the upper right hand corner, select Settings from the drop-down, and see how many devices you have associated with your account?

Clean install, nothing restored or downloaded, cleared old devices, full manual wipe 3x, removed old Google acct and added new. Same issue. But it doesn't matter now cause I did a simple restart this morning, started to boot up, shut down.....dead. Won't power on normally or to bootloader, no charge light. Nothing. Nada. Somehow I convinced Verizon to send a replacement. Hope this one goes better! Thanks for all your help

Wait... What did you mean "phone issue"? What did you determine the issue and fix was?
Even if this something extremely stupid, the solution might help someone else, please share.

I assume so since the day after all this the phone went dead. Can't say for sure but I got my new replacement from Verizon yesterday and did the exact same rooting and s-off and I have no issues. But....the only thing I did differently was flashed Tachyon1.2 instead of EclipticRez v9 for rumrunner s-off. Could have been the issue I suppose but I know rumrunner was confirmed working with EclipticRez and I haven't seen anyone else with the same issue. Truly strange tho

Is Hot Reboot same as Soft Reboot?
I couldn't find the question's forum. But I have a question or series of questions. First I noticed that after trying to install a video chat app. It kept giving me error code 405 I think. So I thought to myself Its never done this. So I tried installing a small app like a message app with only 1.89kb. It downloaded. But it wouldn't install video chat and I had more than enough space. So I looked it up. Google site told me to uninstall the update and restart my phone. So I did that. And that's where it ****ed up. So now i can't even open Google nothing anything associated with Google won't operate properly. I still have Google play in my app running. Not Google play services. Also I tried installing the App didn't work either. Then I tried factory reset. Didn't work either. I tried literally every option I could. I'm in this situation BC of Google told me to uninstall the update. Now I can't use any apps at all. Please help guys .
