Motorola razr xr910 - can't verify whole file signature, - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi to all,
This is my first post here, hoping for some help-
I install ics 4.0.4 and trying now to upgrade to 4.1.2 cm10 rom or to any other you can tell me about that's working good..
and i'm getting this message over and over again.
I get it everytime now when trying to install something from recovery.
And another thing,
In superuser i have a line in red saying - root shell- and from that point on i cant allow any root app to work.
Any help? (-:
Thanks..

You are going to have to run the update from your computer... using the motorola update tool... I had the same issue and that the only way i could do it... a quick google search will get u up and running...

Unfortunately I didn't c or may be didn't get any error msg as it downloaded the update and them asked me to install it.. I selected install now and it rebooted and then said "update failed" when I unlocked the home screen..
strange thing is when I click on check system updates it started again downloading the update from 0%.. I can't wait to put it.. What do you recommended as now when it gets downloaded100%, should I copy the .crc and .zip file to sdcard-ext, so that if it fails then again it should not download it from scratch..

Copy it to your SD Card, boot into Moto recovery and apply the update. Worked flawlessly for my handset.

[Q] "xt910" new forums user+need help

reference link; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231289
Hello everyone,
I am a long time read of xda and a new forums user.I would like to thank "pzyduck" in the link above for his bringing us all the jelly bean for xt910 phones.
Reason for my post, the retail uk rsdlite jelly bean install worked perfect however i lost root, even though i used ota rootkeeper app.My problem is i need to establish root again.I have made backups of ota rootkeeper, superuser and system cwm from my previous install of ics and i was wondering is their anyway to get root back from my "motomizor app" stormbird backups? If anyone can help me with any good suggestions please reply and if successful i have no problems uploading my backups so other users can establish root again.
Try this if it works fo ya
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231142
Hit the thx button if i helped ya in anyways
Rsdlite wiped my root. This thread you provided won't help much. I was thinking of something in the terms of using terminal emulator and my backup and file swapping in order to establish root again somehow.

With the info you have given..........
Are the drivers installed on computer?
Are you running as administrator?
Which version of Odin?
My guess is the 2nd one. Super easy to miss.

There was a time or two where my drivers would not install. But I disconnect and reconnect or returned to stock and connect to computer and they would install.
2.3.6 ??? You should have upgrade to JB
