[Q] Restoring IMEI without Backup - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I own a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300. I've read many topics but as far as I understood for the International version of SGS3 you can only restore IMEI from backup, unlike the US versions where you can force inject the IMEI. Is that correct? Is there any way to restore my IMEI if I don't have a backup apart from reflashing stock rom and etc. Is there some other way around it like with the Qualcomm SGS3 ? Thanks in advance.

[Q] Installing a new ROM and I cant get my IMEI back on it

So Im installing a new ROM on my F600 Smartphone MTK6589. And of course Im loosing the IMEI all the time...
replacing the MP0B_001 file in data nvdram.. doesnt help...
any suggestions?
this is the ROM:http://www.needrom.com/mobile/fly-f600-rom-4-2-1/
As far as I can tell, the ROM is based on some Samsung Galaxy rom - does that mean that I have to search the IMEI the "galaxy way"(something to do with efs)??

[Q] Fixing Efs Partition

Hello, I made a post here because of me unable to use my data or send texts or calls after flashing cyanogenmod then flashing modems. The third gentlemen to comment said that my efs partition was screwed up. So I want to know if anyone has any fixes for it without having to go the a samsung service center as he stated? I was debating on putting this on my S3 (SCH-R530U posting here since there is no section for my variant of the S3) but I'm not sure if that would fix it since my model number is SCH-R530 yet software says that it is the R530U so I'm unsure what effect that would have on my phone. Also I don't recall having the LK5 or LG1 modem on my phone prior to flashing cyanogenmod. Also, what would be recommended to backup before doing this so I don't completely lose everything? Thank you for any suggestions or answers!
Hi! Since you did not make a backup of your efs folder you are gsm/hspda/lte/sms/mms done for i'm afraid. First of, did you flash a CM version specifically for your device or a version for the s3 international/other variants?

I did indeed download the correct version of cyanogenmod for the Galaxy S3 for US Cellular (sadly)
I would try and flash the latest stock rom available from my carrier/country and if that doesn't fix it then i would search on xda/google if my situation happened to someone else before and take this as a last resort.
As always, if you still have warranty then try and flash latest stock rom available and unroot the device so that you can benefit from the warranty. Keep searching until you are sure that the above link is the only way. Best of luck to you!

Galaxy S4 without network signal. Please help.

First, I have a Galaxy S4 i9505 (4G), the problem does not affect my device, but the device's my cousin who is a Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 (3G).
He recently purchased the unit from another person, the unit worked well, but had a small defect in the charging connector ...
He asked me to sell one of my cases and battery why his battery was apparently bad, why was not possible give loads on the battery, I managed to solve this problem.
The problem came when he asked me to update the device to Android 4.4.2 KitKat by several improvements, I downloaded the latest firmware available at SamMobile site and after that did the flash using Odin.
Knox had in 0x1 (the unit had been modified) and I read on some forums that night, that when doing upgrade directly from 4.2.2 version, especially XXUBMGA the EFS partition changes shape, thus having little network problem and signal.

My questions are, it is possible to resolve this situation? I read previously that the IMEI is restored from a backup made previously it is possible to recover the network signal, but made no backup of EFS ....
I also read a long time ago that it is impossible to downgrade to ROM's with lower versions if there Knox installed.
I did the update of Android 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 using Odin.
If possible downgrade, any of you can share the ROM XXUBMGA 4.2.2 for S4 i9500? Or tell me some possible solution installing another ROM / modem?
I am currently trying different modems and using the OmegaROM in my cousin's S4.

[Q][HELP] Galaxy Note II : NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK after flashing rom 5.1 Lollipop

Recently, I have a rooted Note 2 , which is the phone became not registered on network after updating 5.1.1.
I've returned to 4.1.2 for flashing Ariza Patch and BusyBox but nothing seems to work.
I did flash GT-N7100 Model ND3 for fixing it and I've tried a few other sims from different network, but it doesn't work either
This is the first time I've used Android OS so that it's little bit difficult for newbie as me
Anyone can solve it? Just help me
Thank you guys so muchhh!
Check you IMEI in device settings. This sometimes can be wiped out by flashing roms, that is the reason it is posted to back up your efs folder. Without a backup you may end up having to send it in for a new board.
