Hello friends, i have a xperia u.
i just updated my xu to ics via pc companion but its very slow and buggy.
but when i go to the service center to show the problem they said that "its because of pc companion" , we will update ur phone then their shouldn't be problems like before.
Is it realy true friends.
They will wipe data.. After updating....... Probably

Hi guys! I wasn't aware that my phone didnt have the bootloader locked, and i installed the latest KA ICS rom. Now my phone is stuck on the sony ericsson logo. What can i do to undo this?
I've installed CWM but its not of use, because its only acessible during the logo.

Sorry for bad english..
Best is to stick to your present firmware because the update has bugs mainly network loss bug in which you loose network is lost every now and then..
So my advice is stick to ur present firmware!!

Hi all,
I have xperia Sola with android 2.3.7 and when I check Software update through the phone it says it has the latest update.
so I connected to Pc companion and it said that there is new update but cant update because the phone doesnt support Win 8.
Any solution?

Use flashtool and flash newest firmware for Your phone.
Unlock the bootloader, install CWM and flash a custom rom, the ICS update has a lot of bugs...
hey guys i know i am very late to update xperia neo v to stock ics build.... i am still on gingerbread....thats why i am having some doubts
i downloaded pc companion then connected my phone and it shows an update....so my question is that wether i could update my phone solely through pc companion or i need to use flash tool and download ftf file and all that stuff
if some1 could help me!!!
