Haven't had that issue...thankfully. On another note, I've purchased phones from Best Buy and have had them swapped out at a Sprint store. With the issues you're having, I'd definitely get it replaced.
As long as it's within 30 days, bb can exchange it for a new one

X2 wont power on after sbf

Recently aquired a x2 to play with. Was going to turn it into a nifty lil pda dor around the house.. Remote Mp3 player games ext.. Just not to use off the network as a phone... Regaurdless
i was following the instructions loosely from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1650054
and went to SBF after holding Vol up plus power from it being off and it showed the boot M logo with some text at the top, i selected the file from http://www.general-files.com/downlo...Z_MB870_4.5.1A-DTN-150-30_1FF_01.sbf.zip.html
to sbf and started it. soon the screen went black after it was done and was waiting for the phone to do something via RSD lite after reaching 100%.. waited and waited and thought maybe i needed to unplug and or power it off.. I Did both.
Now after removing the batt and sd card and trying power button and or vol up down ect it wont power back on..
Any ideas or am i screwed?

Also, try just plugging it into a wall charger for a while. Silly, I know, but maybe your battery is too low.

Help droid razr wont turn on!!

Ok so i usually charge it with a wall charger and a car charger if im not home. I was in a call and i had hung up and after that i disconnected it from the car charger. It then turned off all the way. I connected it ti wall charger and still nothing. Ive tried soft reset. If i connect to laptop it gets solid white LED. I really wanna use it D: HELP
Did you try to boot into recovery? Push volume up and down and power buttons at the same time and hold this will take you to a screen where you can choose to reboot, wipe cache, ect

My power switch started acting funny yesterday. It won't work if I push it directly, but if I slide my finger up across the switch as I push it down, it will work reliably.
This may not be related to your problem, but worth a quick try.

This happened to my razr maxx last month and even with a factory cable it was toast. Go to droidrazr.com forums and search making your own cable out of a usb cable to jump the phone. Sorts like jumping a cars battery. You will have to take apart your razr though. Another reason i hate this phone doesnt have a removable battery.
It is removable, just not without the case being removed first & why did you create two threads about this?

If you had been paying attention to your own thread you would have noticed that the "Delete" comment was not aimed at the thread.
I posted then changed my mind about it so it was aimed at deleting my own post.
Same thing happend with my razr 2 weeks ago. I tried all things what I found on forums (incl. battery remove -yes, it is very simple- , factory cable, all type of key combinations) but without result. So I gave up and my razr is in repair center now and probably will get new motherboard. I've read somewhere on verizon forum that "rarely, but the cpu itself is crashing" and that could be the reason why the factory cable or battery remove doesn't help. I think this could be same as a damaged BIOS chip in a PC, you can push the power button but PC will not react to that.
If you want , i will buy your phone as it is , with its problem

[Q] Black Screen and Vibration every minute

Hey everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read my thread.
So randomly yesterday my phone just turned blank and it started vibrating every 1 minute almost like its trying to boot up but the screen stays black. Its been on the charger and I am not getting any lights to pop up. I tried the 20second 30second and various other seconds of holding the power button but to no avail. I was wondering if anyone has any other solutions to this problem.
No insurance and the screen is cracked so they will not attempt a repair. They wont even touch the phone.
Im S-OFf with the old hboot and running CM10 from Kushdeck
The computer does not see the device either.
Thank you for your time.
I would reflash the ROM, and when you do be sure to clear Google Wallet settings, it sounds to me like you have a bad flash. What ROM are you using? I would go away from cm10 were I you, that ROM requires a different radio, that ROM is touchy, try a sense 4.0 Mean Rom for example, that will do it.

I understand u tried to hold the power button, did the capacity buttons on the bottom flash? I would try to hold down the power and the vol down button for thirty seconds... That way it does not try to boot to system, instead hopefully it will boot to ur bootloader...

Hi Cables. Thanks for replying.
I have tried the technique you have explained and I am getting nothing.
You could let the battery die, place it on the charger and wait about 5 minutes (led should be blinking when you first plug it in) then try to boot into boot loader
Ummm all I can say is try to Google htc evo 4G lte hard brick... I found this link but I believe u would need a Linux computer... If u don't have one then hopefully u can find one with windows comp... Good luck bro

that method is to fix a lazy panda soft brick and is very specific to that kind of program that s-off can make happen...his brick is something completely different
Oh gotcha I might have read it wrong, but I thought it said hard brick for the evo lte... But hey I tried

Thanks for your reply. I will try this and report back.
Whats the next step if when i let it die and then plug it in and the light does not turn on?
Nothing, if the phone becomes completely unresponsive then you have a brick. Sorry
Just something else to try, but pullout your sdcard and try the power button on volume down for as long as you can hold them. If you sdcard is corrupted it could prevent you from booting.

I think this may be the case. If anyone wants to mess with my phone I will gladly aid in anyway.
Bump... anyone get this issue fixed? I have an evolte that did the same thing. I had my phone give me a black screen. It would still sound for incoming calls and the buttons would light up, but no screen.
I've seen this before. Replacing the screen all together usually fixes the issue. Though it isn't 100%

My phone did the same thing today. I can't figure out if it's a software problem or a hardware problem. Anyone else know what could be causing it to randomly do a short vibrate about every minute and the screen will not turn on.
anyone find a solution for this i have the same problem but my screen is grey, ive tried restarting it like a million times it turns of but as soon as it turns back on it goes to grey screen
power button is stuck
just helped someone with the same symptoms on SG3
Has anyone found a fix for this...? My phone just started doing this very thing, I was playing SNESDroid and the last couple of the days the screen starting wiggin out, a couple of times it just froze and i had to do a hard reboot, this last time yesturday it froze I did a hard reset and it would not turn back on and all my symptoms are the same as the original poster. Only thing I havn't tried is letting the battery die, I just don't know when I would know that it's dead? Anyway any help would be appreciated!

[Q] Audio Jack Not Working.

Its being 1 month My HTC Droid Dna's Audio jack not working.
Around a month ago I feel that my audio jack flickering on and off.
After that stops working for a while and again starts working properly.
Now its completely dead I think.
Tried removing lint from it but there is nothing.
Googled it and found this link
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-HTC-Droid-DNA-Butterfly-Headphone-Jack-Simcard-Sim-Slot-Holder-Power-Flex-Cable/1477850071.html
Just want some help here.
Is it the only solution(replacing above unit with sim tray, audio jack, power flex ) for this?:crying:
Or there is another way to handle this (replacing only audio jack if possible).:fingers-crossed:
since it will cost me a lot replacing the whole assembly.
Thanks

Have you tried different headphones. I would say if there isn't anything in it then it probably went dead. Did you make sure the pins inside were making contact?

If you can help me out, how do i check those it would be great help
Or anything else related to the problem you are welcome my friend :victory:

I read on the forum that someone else that was having problems with their headphone jack pulled the pins out a little bit. They stuck an object in and gently bent them out more and they had success. It's worth a try. Don't bend them too far though.

I have this problem from time to time. I bought some canned air and spay first to rid moisture and then blow it in the jack and use a wood round toothpick and clean it out. Should work fine.
