I have the note 2. I am running stock but I rooted it using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2118348
Everything seemed fine until I realized sometimes when I make calls the call goes through but I can't hear them. I hang up and call back and then I hear them. I know my calls went through because they asked what happened.
Has anyone experienced this issue or have any suggestions for me?

I have a major problem. I have a Touch pro flashed to cricket using t0o's rom. All of a sudden I can't receive incoming calls. I can make calls and internet works, but calls go straight to voicemail. Also data connection now randomly disconnects. I've researched this problem and have found other owners with similiar problem but have found no working solution. I'm no pro and I am wary of a hard reset as I don't fully understand what it entails. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I can't hear any sound when I'm making outgoing calls or any incoming calls. When I dial the number, it works but no sound during the call. Sound is on.
I had Resurrection ICS custom rom. So, I removed everything. I unrooted my phone and installed the regular files using this tutorial. (stock phone)

But, I'm still getting no sound during my calls. Please help me. Tell me what else should I do?

Well since you found something on a site that isn't this one I'm afraid we can't give you much support

Do you still have a custom recovery?
I had this problem before when I had a custom ROM which I downloaded it from this site. it was the Resurrection v2.3 ICS. The author told me to install CM9 kernal and I did. My phone went completely black screen after reboot so I had to reset everything and install the stock phone. I'm back to Android 2.3.4 unrooted and regular stock kernal.
But the problem is still happening.

Hi everyone,
Got my GS3 a couple of days ago and have just gone to make a phone call only to hear the earpiece speaker distorting when ringing and when recipient picks up and talks.
Done a quick search and couldn't find anything, phone is rooted with bloatware removed but everything else is stock. Anyone had this issue? Or should I just return it...

Forgot to add a fairly important bit of information, When receiving calls the speaker is crystal clear...
I have this issue too, rooted and flashed with omega 5.2 right away. got a nandroid of my original somewhere.
but whenever i make a call, (using voicemail to test) it comes back very distorted.
I've tried flashing a few new modems (NELE4 XXLF2 DDLE9 XXLE8) and still same problem.
Even with noise reduction off still same problem.
EDIT: After flashing XXLF2 twice in a row it seems to have stopped. we'll see how it goes!
I am able to phone people and people are able to phone me...that is I and they hear the ring tones. But when I or other answer I cannot hear them and they can not hear me. I have full signal and I am able to send and recieve text messages and everything else, except this.
I formatted the phone (hard reset) and installed everything again, but it didn't help.
Can someone help me?
PS! Can this be caused be Skype which I installed some weeks ago. It to worked fine in the beginning, but it stopped working just before my phone did...

I don't know how confusing was the title but I have a problem.
When Im talking on the phone, and someone else calls, the call that Im currently in, is muted.
So if Im on the phone with my dad, and my mom calls while I speak with my dad, then I can't hear my dad and he can't hear me either. Even if Im the other person hangs up, the sound doesn't resume. So I need to call my dad again. Those were all example yes?
My phone is not rooted, never been modified since I got it out of the box and also, I never had this problem before.
What can I do?
What apps have you installed and what settings have you changed? How come you haven't rooted it?

Its my grandad's phone. He doesn't need a rooted phone, haha...
I highly doubt he installed or changed anything since he doesn't understand most of the things that the phone offers. Either from making calls, Skype and emails, he doesn't really do anything else...
Bkup you're /his contacts with google and flash stock with Odin. I guess you know how to do this. And I guess as its you're granddaddy phone and nandroid and rooting and all that won't really matter.
