Hi, i had see many S3 with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and have multiview feature. I have same android version on my S2 and i can't find anything related to active multiview.
For S2, this is only available in custom ROMS?

You mean for trying the mod I posted, or for flashing a custom ROM?
That mod is tested and confirmed working on XWLSD build (according to its creator).
As for flashing a custom ROM, it doesnt matter.

I thought u wanted the multiwindow mod..
Try clearing data of gallery app. If it doesn't work, try wiping dalvik cache and fixing permissions.

Strange! Many people have tried it out in that thread with success..
If multi window mod doesn't work for u, then I guess u can try flashing a custom ROM.

i unrooted my s2 i9100 and flashed the official uptade I9100XWLSJ and everything works perfect again now i will root it again and i may try only ripple effect this time!! thanks anw you helped me! :good:

Hello guys;
I use Neatrom v4.6 and siyah kernel v6.0b5 when i'm trying to use secret codes like *#9900# or *#*#197328640*#*# nothing happened. When i use *#1234# supersu opens.
I'm using stock based rom and at Neatrom v4.5 all of the codes works.
Is anybody knows what happens ?

Hello, i have this problem:
i have before on my phone other ROMs like:
1) [ROM] GT-I9100 Resurrection Remix JB v3.1.3 [31/12][AOKP JB (4.2.1)](AROMA+OTA)
2) [ROM][CWM][April 4]JB XWLSN NeatROM Full/LITE/Mods/Themes
3) And now i use [ROM][01Apr] ●●► Omega v11 ◄●AOKP Build-6●►Jelly Bean 4.2.2◄●Aroma●►
But i cant on any of this properly record calls. I try Call recorder, Total Recall, Auto Call Recorder = nothing works. I record call, application save file with name, number etc... but the files have 0 KB and the files does not get played. Have someone here same problem with recording like i wrote? I dont understand it. Some people in Threads for this Custom Roms record calls with no problems and someone have same problems like me.
Its weird. In earlier version i have no problems (1-2 years before). Its possible, that new version ROMs cant record calls? Is this problem only for Jelly Bean Roms? I Remember, when i use ROMs like 4.0.3 and all recording was normal.

Both NeatRom and Omega 4.1.2 roms can record calls without any issues. Tested myself!

AFAIK, call recording needs sammy libraries to work properly. Could be the reason why there is no call recording for CM/AOSP/AOKP roms.

Alliance 4.1.2 dose. But like imm said. Not aokp cm based. Its stock based but aokp LOOKS ARE THERE.

No, for my no. Its bad but i use now Omega v23, Final JB 4.1.2 and its perfect. Call recording working - in deafult mode also via Call Recorder .

Mate, always remember 3 things:
1. Never post in the wrong forum - you could mess up your device real bad! This is for the I9100. :good:
2. Never create multiple posts about the same issue if you don't get any replies. Be patient, and someone will answer you shortly.
3. Never try to replace a system app that has been modded by simply installing it. It won't install. You need to push it directly to your system folder.
As for your question, I believe someone has already answered it.
Status 7 error, installation aborted on samsung galaxy s2 i9100m. i cant seem to install the 3.5 update with filename "pa_grouper-3.50-05MAY2013-002917" it always ends up in error. is it possible that that update is not for my unit? keeps on running that error on other updates too except for "pa_i9100-3.00-12FEB2013-210537" cant seem to flash to a newer version. ANy thoughts on this? thanks in advance.
P.S. i bkticed that the video player does not pop out like it does on the officil 4.1.2. I cant multitask by sending emails while watching a movie. or is there any video player app that does the same?

Paranoid android 3.0. It wont upgrade to 3.15 or 3.5. 3.0 is still 4.2.1 . i want to upgrade it to 4.2.2. And regarding the video play,it doesnt have that tweak on the s2 where the screen can be minimized for multitasking.

I think that video player is found only on stock based roms, which PA rom is not.
Let me check the PA thread and see what I can find.
Edit:
Status 7 error occurs when asserts verification fails. It could be because you have downloaded the wrong file, or ur rom is broken.
Check the MD5 sums to verify the rom is not corrupted.
And does PA rom install 'as is' on the I9100M or do u need to change ur device's build.prop?

i downloaded a and redownloaded it 3 times and 3 files already. still no luck.the paranoid android download is just confusing.too many download links. lol. will check the file when i get home. i think its the "m" on i9100m thats confusing the installation. it aborts it.

That's what I thought too. Because I can't find PA rom for the I9100M.
Both I9100 and I9100M have similar hardwares, and hence roms should be compatible. But maybe there is a script that checks to see if u have I9100 in the new PA roms.

i think so because i noticed that most of the users who are having this problems are i9100m and i9100g users. there was a solution where you edit the roms file and delete the first three lines that have assert on them and the last line that has assert on them too but it disnt work for me. i like this rom because it has tablet ui option to it and has the feel of the cm 10.1 and u can edit the per app colors. they just dont have a decent/well arranged download site. hope i get the update. some features are missing with the version that i installed.

You need to change your kernel either to siyah or dori..

i already have a dori kernel. i read the main thread. the project is temporarily closed. so the link on the websites are not for i9100, its for nexus 7. thats why i had a problem with the build.prop because it wasnt a build for i9100. thanks anyway. siyah,dori or cm kernel works on it.

Someone else is developing it. Fldc made a new thread. I really like the hybrid option. I wish there was a more stable custom rom with hybrid option and per app color. I left cyanogenmod for that.
Have you looked at pacman rom. Is very good.

btw the stock S4 camera app has this as an option ... what the volume key should do. In my opinion the home key would be much easier and better to use - but still it would be a good option.
