well im experience the common htc camera pixels issue,where there are alot of tiny off colored pixels when taking pix.i also hd this issue with my wizard and there was a fix.just wondering if there was a fix for the athena as well.thanx
I havent had that prob. since upgrading to PK3 ROM and Radio 1.50
im currently running both...anyone else experiencing this?

It's a great rom and my current daily driver, but the 3D functions, WiMax, and Bluetooth audio do not work.
4G will never happen for it. 3D notta from what I have read and heard.

I used to own a Desire Z, which I assume, due to it not having a forward facing camera, had a very useful and good, self portrait app built in. This used the face recognition and made a noise when a face was recognised which made the noise more frequently as you moved the camera more towards your face. I know that I can use the screen to line up the camera but this is only using the 1.3mp camera and doesn't do 3d. I have tried a few of the app a from the market place by they are all lacking compared with what came with the desire z. Does any one know if it possible to get the HTC app?
Try ripping it from a desire z Rom and trying it.

Thanks Atomix86, but that is a about 20 levels above my skills, lol, I haven't even rooted a phone, do you have a noob friendlier way?
I've been using Skype for android since the EVO 3d and it worked pretty well in the 3d....on the 4g LTE the front facing camera lags.. The person I talk to says it's delayed and I can tell ts delayed when I look at my camera screen.....
If I use the front facing camera to take pictures, it works fine.... Just not for Skype... Anyone else notice this problem?
