I turned on my phone this morning and their was a software update ready to load.
I installed the update which took about 5-7 minutes.
Can anyone tell me what this update contained or where I can find a listing of what it contained??
Over the past couple of weeks I have had terrible problems with the phone not coming out of sleep mode or having to pull the battery to get it working again. Will this update fix this problem!!
PS:
I have put the new details in my signature if anyone can tell me what it means.

Hi guys,
I was trying to upgrade to Android 2.3 on my Sharp Softbank 005SH but the phone got stuck in the Major Update screen and I don't know what to do now. Anyone with experience please help!
The phone is updated to the latest firmware that is required for this major update, Build No. S0900.
So, I decided to go for the PC upgrade option, Downloaded the driver and the Update tool, waited for many hours for the download to complete, then started the procedure.
I then switched the phone to Fast File Transfer USB mode, checked for update, it discovered that an update was available and asked me to restart the phone.
After restarting, I ran the Update tool but it gets stuck at the screen where it checks if the phone is connected in the above USB mode.
Meanwhile, the phone won't reboot in normal mode. If I pull the USB cable out, it says "Update failed. After a reboot the phone will work again." Well, it doesn't because I can't reboot. Even tried removing the battery for a couple of minutes...

I've sent my phone back to Japan. Hopefully, they'll fix it there soon.
Obviously, the problem occurs because the phone and/or the OS are not in Japanese.
So my 10.1's been stuck at 46% on the 3.2 update now for about an hour. Has anyone had as long of a delay?
Not sure how long to wait or, really, what if any options I have...

I am installing the update right now through OTA.
For me it stayed in '46%' only for a couple of minutes. Now i am at '51%'
I have heard it takes a while, I'd sit tight if you are still waiting...
On another note, does anyone know if this update to 3.2 breaks root?
*EDIT* Did update, root not lost.
Update: Called Samsung tech support. They instructed that if the update hangs the fix is to just turn the tab off and then on again. Update started again and completed without error.
Noticed my phone tried to force an update today while working, caught it with 4min left. I know there are issues with unlocked phones and roms and updating so i wanted to get a thread up here to let people know.
Update will FORCE itself, latest deffered time is 2/5/12, 4am (est for me)
So this should be a warning to apply the update in some capicity before you end up looking at your phone stalling out in the middle of a forced update due to bootloader/roms.
Woke this morning to my phone in recovery, it had done something but the update didn't go through. Rebooted back to my unlocked Rezrom 1.5 , later it tried again but I deferred it.
Yesterday I wanted to see if there is an update to my phone, and it was. I downloaded the update (my other update at about 3 months ago was 550 MB and this was 35 MB) and when i wanted to install it my phone restarted and started to display that android icon (like the other update) but somenthing is different this time, THE PHONE KEEPS SHUTING DOWN AND DIPLAYING THAT ICON over and over again, it doesn't even start the upgrade cuz it shuts down. Please help me with this problem I don't know what to do, i didn't even shut down the phone cuz I was afraid it will get an error. Please help me. (My android version was 4.1.2 before the update, now I don't know)
P.S. The phone is not recognized by the pc

you stuck in update. remove battery and switch on phone if still not starting phone then follow this recovery wipe data and cache but you will loose all your data
Is there a toolkit for the dna like most of the phones with a one click to fastboot to stock? I have a fully stock with android 4.1 on it.
Sitting on the settings screen it will prepare the sim card every couple of min and airplane mode turns itself on and off. At the verizon store they told me that it was an issue with the original software on the phone but its never been updated.
Since the update doesnt work, it does this weird **** when i try to update or it comes up and disappears with the update balloon saying checking maybe there is another option. Other companys have released downloadable update files but i cant seem to find this for this one and the one toolkit i found to restore stock got its links removed and its gone from the internet apparently.
