After rooting my L9 and following the directions I found on the net, I disabled the 'disable_tmus_packages.sh' script using SManager. Now I can't figure out how to enable the script again. Does anybody know how? I appreciate any help.

Hii,
I root my atrix, and then use the GladEnabler on it, But when I try to install the recovery its says that the app from unknown source, what should I do?
Edit
sorry but I tried to post it on the Q&A
Read the directions.
Read the directions again.
Read the directions a third time. If you do not understand a step, ASK before starting.
Download the script
Extract the files to C:\GladEnable. Do not install anywhere else. Having it inside a folder with a space will cause the script to FAIL.
Enable USB debugging (Settings -> Applications -> Development).
Connect your phone (I recommend setting USB Connection to 'None').
Run GladEnable.bat (If you're using Windows 7, run as admin by holding down control and double-clicking).
Follow the on-screen directions. You will need to tap "Allow" on your phone for each step.
Make sure you allow the superuser request on your phone or it WILL fail.
All done!
If you´ve done everything correkt don´t know whats wrong.
what kind of recovery is it you want to install?

Hi there,
I have an (hopefully easy) problem which I am searching the answer for hours now.
I want to use my android device (4G Systems One Tab) to remotely execute a batch file on my PC via WIFI-Connection.
That's it.
I want to have an Icon on my homescreen and when its clicked the batch-file on the desktop computer is executed. (no feedback or output needed, this is all done by the batch)
I would be grateful if anyone could provide me with a solution or even an idea to find the way.
Thanks
HagbardC
I don't have much experience in bash script but I do know that a software by the name of Script Manager is available in the market and might just help you achieve your goal.
Now with Script Manager you can execute a script you created and place it on a shortcut on the desktop of your phone. The bash script would do any type of calls it needs to do to the PC. As long as your firewalls are well configured and you have port forwarding on the router (if needed) or your on the same wifi network you should be able to do as you need with the tool.
Now also remember, you might want to consider rooting your phone so you can have busybox installed and have a good amount of commands available to you.
Thank you, that was of help. Problem solved.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but this is my problem exactly as well. I want to run a script to execute a .bat file from my computer.
Could you please go into more detail about HOW you configured "Script Manager"?
Possibly share your script so I can change it to fit my information.
Anyone? Please help.
Thanks.

Hello,
what I'm trying to achieve is monitoring a file and execute a command when such file is edited/moved/deleted.
The inotifyd tool (included in busybox) is what I need to use, I guess. But there is no documentation about it at all, and I can't seem to get it working.
I've tried something like
inotifyd 'echo Hello' /sdcard/sample_file:M

but it keeps waiting forever and nothing happens even if I manually move sample_file using a file manager.
Can someone enlighten me, please?
hi there,
i am trying to root my daughters kindle fire hd 7 (4th gen) version 4.5.5 and used king root but I get a message that says that it cannot root it gives me something about that there is no root avail for this model.
Is there anyway I can root her device? I see quite a bit of information about rooting here but some of it seems a bit more complex for me to follow and I dont want to do anything to ruin the device. Please advise.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

Only OS 4.5.3 and below can be rooted with Kingroot. See here for list of root guides: http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-hd/general/reference-key-to-root-upgrade-guides-t3179676

thanks for the information this was the thread that confused me a bit. I know it says its for beginners, but some of the information seems a bit on the advanced side.
I will try to go through it in hopes I can root her device.

Hi there,
I have gone to the link you provided me. followed the steps up until I get to the following part which I don't understand
3. OS 4.5.3 and below - Download Kingroot (link below), open a terminal/CMD window from the folder you put it in, and go to step 6.
OS 5.0.n - Download to computer:
- 4.5.3 update bin: https://kindle-fire-updates.s3.amazo..._453011120.bin
- Kingroot: http://www.kingroot.net/
6. On computer, enter commands to block OTA:
adb shell pm block com.amazon.dcp
adb shell pm block com.amazon.otaverifier
I got as far as number 3 and then came to a halt. I would really like a little more help so that I can complete the root. Thanks in advance for your help.

You don't need (want) to convert it. Just rename "bin" to "zip" in Windows explorer. In case your attempts to convert have modified it in some way, I suggest you download the file again and use that new one.

i do appreciate all your help. but can someone help me. im at the last steps of the process? thanks!
In windows, go to control panel/folder options and uncheck "hide extensions for known file types."

Thx for this tool, not just for the sake of it, but for the sake of us newbies being able to learn some basics from reading a batch file as well.

I have the Samsung drivers installed and USB debugging on, however, the bat file stays on "Waiting for device". Normally I would get a notification granting my comp privileges for the debugging but no dice.

I get the same unless i right click and run as admin but when i hit 2 (medium) then go i get the following?
UPDATE: Nevermind the reason adb commands were not running was due to the custom kernel i was using. switched kernels and the debloater worked fine.

If you plan on using this with the latest update GPG2, edit the .bat file and remove the last line for TmoWfcPrefs, this is needed to change wifi calling preferences.

OK, so I am dependent upon WiFI calling at work, and I did this, but maybe it's because I have an 11 month old or I don't know what but I must not have saved the BAT file correctly. anyway, I broke my WiFi calling.
- EDIT: it works if I turn it on with the quick icon - but if I go to settings, and click more networks, then click wifi calling it just crashes settings every time. any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
