Hi, I have a samsung galaxy s2 gt-i9100 (duh) and im wondering which of the stock jelly bean roms have the best battery life? Currently Im using the I9100XWLS8, which only gives me about 11 hours battery life.. shockin!

Firstly, The battery life u have now is fine. You cant get anything better than that. This is the average.
And not everyone has a GT-I9100... There are other variants of the S2 too. So, yes you have to mention your model.
Secondly, you're not supposed to ask about best ROMs according to the forum rules. Try them out yourself and figure out.

Ah, I'm pretty sure I was getting a lot longer before I upgraded my ROM to Jelly Bean though..

my favorite WAJKIUI ROM .... fast, and better battery
Agree with above plus if you add setcpu you can get amazing battery life.

check rom with siyah kernel 2.3 ,very fast medium battery life...if you want better battery life get sensation rom by crysis with siyah 2.1
I am always on internet due to which the battery life of my Samsung GalaxyS2 is very poor. If i install a custom rom which has a better battery life will be very good.

For every noob who posts a new ICS related thread on XDA, battery life decreases by 1 minute. We're down to only 5 minutes of battery at the moment and I wish you'd stop, it's frustrating having to be tethered to electricity 24/7.
When it's officially released, flash it and find out the correct answer.
Battery life on ANY device is totally subjective to the user....

I'm not a noob...I just didn't know the answer to a question. Last time I checked that meant I'm human, so I don't appreciate you bringing this attitude when all I did was ask a simple question which required a simple answer.

As an experienced user, you should know there are so many variables that determine battery life which make your question almost impossible to answer. There is no rom X is more battery friendly that rom Y, regardless of what version of Android it is.
That's the point other people are trying to make & which you're not getting.

Honestly bro, from personal experience, I just try out the ROM and see whether battery life is better or worse. The way I use my phone is different from others, so try out the ROM first and test it out. Won't hurt to try.
plus, testing a ROM yourself will allow you to gain hands-on experience which may prevent you from asking questions that people may bash you on.

Depends on your phone Set-Up, but honestly i did some battery test before with same widgets, theme and apps.. and i get more battery life with Gingerbread, remember they are leaked versions.. No official, Beta version for me!

I know all about that mate. Its just that usually if there is an upgrade in the os then the battery life gets better as well. I've watched pocketnow videos in YouTube and I heard that Android 4.0 has a better way of dealing with ram and such. So naturally I thought better ram management equals better battery life.

I would say it's the same for me at the moment, i am using CM9 Codeworkx, but as the rom gets more stable the battery life is getting better. My battery life when using stock Gb was pretty poor anyway.

I'm looking for something fast (I like showing off my quadrant scores to my HTC fan boy friends) and stable, a good battery life would be great=). Can you help me choose between aokp and shostock2? And don't turn this into a war guys=) we all know they're both amazing ROMs, I just want to know which has better battery life and stability, speed is a nice bonus=) thanks!

You could dual boot them using the siyah kernel. If you choose to do that download the version WITH mic swap, and try them both without flashing back and forth.
try both and see which works best for you.

Have a question re rom in galaxy s3 (uk).
My girlfriend has been using it for a while now and there are some issues like disconnecting with wifi and drains battery realy fast, to save juice wifi needs to be off and phone put in save battery mode and you have to do that each time you put away ur phone...
I have android tablet with custom ram from team EOS and the device is much more better that before (faster! No adds! With different cpu usage profiles to save battery! ...) so my question is what ram would you recommend for galaxy3 ?

There is no best absolute Rom that's why those threads are forbidden, to avoid countless trolls and fan battles. You must determine if you want Sammy or not Sammy based Rom, and then pick up one considering the description in op.
use Omega 33.3 Rom if you want a touchwiz based rom. Its tweaked for performance and very stable with the latest additions of Android 4.2 and Note II features..
For a pure Nexus feel use Cyanogenmod 10
For modified Nexus Feels ParanoidAndroid
These three are my favorites

Just got me a new Galaxy s3 19300 and been looking out for the rom with best battery life...I was having a Galaxy s2 and using Neatrom then which had quite impressive batt stats...So all i'm trying to say is i just wanna know which rom here has the best batt life...plus i am currently running Neatrom v4.7 ...if that helps...
