Does anybody know if there's a way to implent Bluetooth UHID compability to an Android 4.2 based ROM for supporting HID-based devices like gamepads, PS3 controllers, Wiimotes, etc.? Because the uhid drivers are missing in every android 4.2 build..

Hi, i've a Gnex and i see that developers need to release two branches of their kernel since 4.1 aosp is avaible and they're not compatibile (4.0.x and 4.1).
What's the tecnical reason ?
Then i have a TF300T with a laggish 2.6.x kernel and i would like to compile a 3.1 build coming from nexus 7 tab sources (same hw platform).
Is there a way to merge 2.6.x sources with 3.1 and create a kernel image that runs on 4.0.3/4 ?
Really thanks for answers
I have a ainol novo 7 crystal.
I would like to have usb bluetooth dongle support on a stock based rom.
Someone build cm10 for that tablet with bt dongle support.
Now my tablet is running that stock based rom with the cm10 kernel,
so the kernel supports usb bt, but not the rom itself.
I think I can copy the modules from cm10 to that rom?
What do I have to change or add to the rom to get usb bluetooth dongle working?
Thank you all in advance.
Is there a ROM with wiimote support and on android kitkat?
To be able to connect with a wiimote the ROM requires a downgraded/altered BT stack with pairless devices support
Thanks.
As far as I know we don't have the files to port the support of ANT+ to other ROMs.
So how the heel FXP managed to get it working on CM10? So when it's working on JB isn't it possible to port it to KK?
Drivers needed for ANT+ needed to work is missing because of new bluetooth stacks introduced on JB 4.2 onwards.
CM10(JB 4.1) still uses old bluez drivers, so ANT+ works.
Hey all,
Wiimote bluetooth support has been broken in android since 4.2. Has it been fixed in lollipop or marshmallow? If not, are there any custom roms I could install that have wiimote support?
My device is a JFLTEUSC.
Thank You!
