To be able to connect with a wiimote the ROM requires a downgraded/altered BT stack with pairless devices support

Wiimote bluetooth support has been broken in android since 4.2. Has it been fixed in lollipop or marshmallow? If not, are there any custom roms I could install that have wiimote support?

I would like to install a custom ROM which simply works...
The thing is I want to use MHL and I want to connect an xbox controller with my Z2.
So is there any custom Rom which is based on Android Open Source and Supports MHL for the Xperia z2?
I already tried CarbonROM on 8.1
Resurrection 8.1 and
Prerooted 6.0.1
On all 8.1 my Controller works but not MHL
and on the prerooted 6.0.1 which works best there is MHL support but I cant connect my xbox controller
