Hi,
I purchased my S2 from a retail shop and that time the shopkeeper told me its 4/5 days used.
At the Bootup the yellow triangle showed up and they told me that since the set purchased
from 3 UK and to make that SIM free they root it.
Anyhow i am using the set since Sep and i havn't found any problem...
Now i want to get rid of Yellow Triangle and upon the searching the forum i conclude that i
need to reinstall the original Kernel...

And can i install the other firmwares from 3 OR should i stick with the original...

Flashing any soft ware from here will not lock the phone.
you can use kf4 to remove the triangle.
You really cna not remove the 3 branding with the stock rom, you need a generic one.
You should you upgrade your phone. you are using 2.3.3, latest versions use 2.3.5 and has significant battery tweaks so the battery lasts longer.
you can use stock or custom but the choice is your preference.
Before flashing you should make a backup of your efs folder just in case.

The problem is Titanium, Battery Calibration say the phone is not rooted but Barclays applications doesnt want to install cos it says the phone is rooted.....

I use antutu benchmark.. smdk4x12 ( actually is mt6575 cpu ) thickness of my phone is 8.6mm.
from the link u post, i think our phone is different model.. my phone dont have speaker grill at the bottom back. but ur phone is mt6575..

I recently bought this phone: Feiteng GT-I9300 MTK6575 like the one here:

Then I flashed it with SP Flash Tool. The phone turn on well and I have access to the recovery mode. The problem is I can't use my touch panel and the menu and back keys! only physical keys work. So I'm stocked at the slide page!
Do anybody have the same phone?
If so is it possible to have a backup of this phone with all necessery files by using this posts?:

This is how I rooted my S3 i9300 mtk6577 you can try this but with caution and at your own risk.
- Install the MTK6577 usb drivers http://www.4shared.com/rar/0MvyztbR/...oid_ZTE_.html? cau2=403tNull
- Download the rooting .rar file (v2) from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1886460
- Enable USB-Debug option from settings and Close all apps;
- Connect the phone to USB and click RunMe.bat file and select option 3
- Click Restore option on mobile to backup data.
- Mobile should reboot twice and the command prompt on ya PC shows this msg: "Successful, going to reboot your device!"
Install RootChecker from play store and verify the phone is rooted or not.
Install TitaniumBackup from play store and take full backup.
Use "Root App Delete" from play store to delete Chinese apps
PS do this with caution.

i have two phones both are dead after flashing wrong recovery ...
1st is i9300 s3 clone china mtk6575_s01... build alps.gb.mp.v.2.17... it has 1 normal sim .. no gps...it's not emmc between ... it was dead but i tried flashing it with BP-I9300 firmware so its turned on but with white screen i think it's uboot mismatch between the two phones ... i searched everywhere without no luck to find the stock software for it this is the build prop..

I can help, you will need to pull the stock recovery from your device then use some XDA user made tools to port your stock recovery into a custom recovery that will allow you to simply flash a root.zip to gain root access then use SP flash tool to upload it back to device. OR if nothing else try this, it has worked on a bunch of different phones.

Unfortunately there is no GPS in this phone
Hi guys! Im a newbie here, i do have the same phone with the TS, however, i messed up with my vold.fstab file.
I cannot access my SDCARD though it was inserted.
**I did that swapping the INT to EXT CARD thing. And my biggest mistake was I didnt made the back up file of the original file before i changed it.

Open your smartphone , and check the screen connector ( the one on the right side of the back camera) , maybe he is not correctly attached.

As I don't have the budget for a original s4 smartphone a friend of mine brought a s4 clone from Thailand, but guess it must be chinese clone. Pitty enough I don't know the brand, it has samsung *****, samsung battery, etc

I would like to put other rom on it (with dutch) but impossible to root phone and I don't know what rom would work as I don't know the brand.
I can't get in recovery mode neather, tried different button combinations (volume down/home button) but nothing works
Also often network signal get lost with message "limited access changed"
Could you help me please with your knowledge? Myself don't have any knowledge

I'm trying to somehow get Danish language on it. Tryed different "locale apps" from Play Store, not working.
Got it rooted with cydia impactor so i could get it backed up with MtkDroidTools.

To Runmo; in this rom it says Nederlands in Language settings.
So looking for a rom with Danish language, and it would be great if it is a newer version than 2.3.6 Gingerbread also.

PLEASE HELP I can't reboot my phone without it freezing
hello first I have problem with jump screen but i root the phone and i did the fastboot with program call Shuame , after that I can't reboot my phone without it freezing, but I can get in to recovery mode where is the 1.reboot system now-when I reboot my phone the screen becomes black.2.Apply update from sdcard - i don't have any update .3.Wipe data/factory reset -I did that but nothing change I can't reboot my phone get black screen 4.wipe cache partition I did it, nothing changed 5. backup user data and 6. restore user data.
