Missing default app after bootloader unlock - HTC Droid DNA

HTC Flashlight, Calculator, Dropbox, and Soundhound is gone after I unlocked my bootloader...
am I the only one?

Only one of those is a default app afaik. And that would be calculator.

When you unlocked your bootloader all data was erased, so sound hound and dropbox were deleted.
And flashlight isn't an app on the dna, but Idk about calculator. Are you sure you didn't delete it somehow.

umm yea, that was my point.
but since you brought it up it can be done with any file explorer that can mount /system. as well as adb.
You can actually uninstal Sprint wallet, radio, NASCAR, and blockbuster without temp root.

Dude, I know that. But all the ones I've seen like(root explorer) cost money, and I was lookin for apps that r free that work with the temp root.. I also was trying to help other ppl out too. Everyone knows that if u have the temp root and do something to ur phone and then restart, it will go away and u have to do it again. That's why its a temp root. Don't try to be a smart ass, if u don't have anything useful to say to help others, don't reply

Correct.
So they are just frozen.
They still take up exactly the same amount of space on your emmc.
Unless they are system hogs, and run in the background, DAE know what the point of 'uninstalling' these might be?
Unless you just don't like to see the icons, I just don't see the point..

YouTube links not opening in YouTube app

Anyone having this issue? I was on fb and hit a link, it would open in the internet browser instead of the app.
Its not the app association setting. That's set properly to open YouTube links with YouTube app.
sent from HTC Droid DNA on Verizon.
I'm assuming that Sense blocks the use of external video streamers/players; Same for external picture/file explorers. Only small percentage of apps show up as directories.

Try toggling the app association and reboot. I just t tied it and it works fine for me.

Thanks, that did it. Toggled it, rebooted, fixed it.

App associations is the only thing that controls it. Make the browser isn't overriding it somewhere

Very well could be. Is it sense less?

I think it's based off the sense rom, but most of it was removed. I will try UKB without Sense later when I have some time and see how it goes.

Polaris office missing

Beats EQ?

Anyone know where the EQ is located in stock sense? Beats EQ sounds horrible on or off. I know I could download Poweramp or the like but I have a Google All Access pass and Gplay music is my only resolve.
^This
I've looked all over the place and can't find it. Strange because on my galaxy S2 it was right in the Google play music settings

From what I've read, HTC has removed anything having to do with an EQ from sense and have gone the "our way or the highway" route. Still, there has to be some way to access it or atleast tap into the hardware with another app THAT ISN'T A MUSIC PLAYER. I know poweramp can modify the EQ but personally, and some may hate me for this, I think poweramp sucks.

I suppose a system wide equalizer app would do the trick but all the ones I've tried have been terrible. Poweramp's equalizer is amazing.

Does anyone know of any good equalizer apps?

I used viper4android on my Galaxy Note and the sound was incredible compared to Beats on the One. It requires root though, and I haven't rooted my One yet since I literally just got it. I would be interested to see if anyone with a One has tried it yet.

Yeah that's the one. It has a ton of options for tweaking the equalizer. So many options that it's almost overwhelming, but it's well worth the effort. You can find it on the playstore or here on XDA. If I have time this weekend I'll see if I can get it installed.
