Beats EQ? - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

Anyone know where the EQ is located in stock sense? Beats EQ sounds horrible on or off. I know I could download Poweramp or the like but I have a Google All Access pass and Gplay music is my only resolve.

I've looked all over the place and can't find it. Strange because on my galaxy S2 it was right in the Google play music settings

From what I've read, HTC has removed anything having to do with an EQ from sense and have gone the "our way or the highway" route. Still, there has to be some way to access it or atleast tap into the hardware with another app THAT ISN'T A MUSIC PLAYER. I know poweramp can modify the EQ but personally, and some may hate me for this, I think poweramp sucks.

I suppose a system wide equalizer app would do the trick but all the ones I've tried have been terrible. Poweramp's equalizer is amazing.

Does anyone know of any good equalizer apps?

I used viper4android on my Galaxy Note and the sound was incredible compared to Beats on the One. It requires root though, and I haven't rooted my One yet since I literally just got it. I would be interested to see if anyone with a One has tried it yet.

Yeah that's the one. It has a ton of options for tweaking the equalizer. So many options that it's almost overwhelming, but it's well worth the effort. You can find it on the playstore or here on XDA. If I have time this weekend I'll see if I can get it installed.

here is the apk... but i somewhere heard that its only for froyo..!!
am not sure either I know the xperia play has one on it so maybe you have to wait till 2.3 to come
DSPManager is hands down the best one! Just flash it and you're good to go. With DSPManager settings applied on top of PowerAMP EQ, the difference is night and day. Try for yourself!

Does it work BETTER than shazam or something cause shazam is pretty spot on. What's the benefit?

None really, all you get is the song, artist and price on google play
Can't wait to try this later

DSP manager, beats effect on stock apps.

I was running foxhound rom1.3 and I used to get the effect of DSP manager on stock music player and video player(stock). But when I came into 1.5 version, its supported only in Apollo or Google play music play. I'm hugely disappointed about this. That effect in the video player was simply awesome. Is there any method to bring it back? Can someone help??

I installed the ROM without selecting the optional beats audio. Then used this mod.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1945535. Now I have beats audio also in stock apps. The beats audio which came with the ROM was not providing effect for the stock players. Now I have the effect in video player also.

Samsung galaxy music app

Is there a way to download the music so for the galaxy on my LG-P769? The galaxy app is fluid and nicer imo. Also I'm not rooted or moded or anything like that

I'm sure there's an apk, although I think it may have to be modified to work with ours. Before you waste time with a Samsung (eww) app, try out Nexmusic on the Play Store. That's my favorite music app, it has all the features I need in it. I think it has an equalizer but I'm not sure, I don't really use those since my metal sounds good enough without them
Ok I'll look into it thanks
