I'm writing a script to the automate an authentication enforced by my ISP.

Try the busybox app from the play store...

The busybox installer doesn't have curl binary. I tried.

Is there a trick to installing all files as when I try to I get an error does it have to be on the ad card or can it run from the phone memory?

Because the bolt got a new bootloader with the update to ICS. If you're running sense 3.6 on your bolt you have to change the main version,downgrade the bootloader, unlock, s off and then upgrade through ROMs to be rooted. Use this guide here.

How I change my main version? And downgrade the bootloader? I root HTC inspire 4 g very easy but the thunderbolt give me a lot headache

Just follow that guide. The thunderbolt and inspire 4g are totally different. That method is the only current method for rootting this device while it is on ICS.

The allinone tool or any of the unlock tools for the bolt will not work for the ICS update.

You'll have to download the rumrunner specifically for HTC Desire X. Revone won't work for our phone. Also make sure that adb connection works after each reboot (disable lockscreens and security options).
