imei is not a big issue u just root ur phone & use mobile uncle tool to take bacup of ur imei no. then store that .bak file to ur sd card or save it on a safe place for future.
as u lost ur imei u can use mobile uncle tool for restore it. it ask for reboot then do that & get restored ur imei no.

As the title says it all.
I have a celkon ct2 tab which as sim facility.
i installed cyanbook jb v4 which is orignally made for micromax funbook. It is working well but the Phone.apk and other sim based apk dont work even though they are there in sys/app.
we cant install them and so dont know what problem is there.
i found that this jelly bean rom dont have baseband i.e. it is showing baseband : unknown.
so what is wrong with the custom rom ???
is it due to baseband or some thing else has gone wrong ???
Chef of the Forum come on help me out so that there could be and offical custom rom for celkon ct2 which many are searching but cant find it any where else.

I had a similar issue with my phone,I created a ROM myself based on Xperia Looks but after flashing it Sims not detected and baseband error,Baseband is working on its base ROM....I think its a issue with the files I added into it....Is the TAb having these features in Stock ROM

Where as mmx funbook don't have sim slot so no call features in there.
So what r the files to be replaced or modified to get this features activated ???

Yes !!! Stock rom supports it all. Right now also using gprs and sending this reply.
The dev of the custom rom is karndev and I had send him an pm to regarding this but don't know if I successfully send that pm or not ....
If we are able to add all this features to it then it would be wonderful

My Custom ROM also showed this error and it had also crashed when opening settings....It was due to using if incompatible Files on the ROM

If you think so,compare files of both custom and stock ROm to be sure... and I think modem.img is inside framework/etc

don't know where it hust be :"(
yes but i found radio file with no extension but i am unable to copy it to pc or scdcard :/
and i think i found the answer for activation voice calling .
it's the framewrok-res.apk in which in /res/value/bools.xml we need to change voice-calling=ture, can be found on forum itself.
but after repacking and changing it with stock, device reboots and goes in bootloop :"(

AFTER Editing sign the apk and don't do much editing to it that are not sure off...

I did that only. One thing I found out is that , custom rom boot.img don't have gsm files so that may be the reason :-/

Are you sure your IMEI is lost? Go to settings,and see.If it starts with 0,then it's lost/corrupted.Are you on OMEGA ROM?

To get your stock recovery.img you will first need to determine which partition is the /recovery partition. To do this please run the following command as root from adb shell and please post the result:

Hi, Akshay if your phone is under 7 day of buying date than you can claim the replacement of the phone at the spice customer care near to you...

Hey, You Tried this Cwm recovery on your phone......
Because I am using my second spice mi-515 I bricked the first one and claimed for a replacement and thank god they Provided me a replacement....

Mount system b data n install it via cwm
File manager s gonna get opened n u can do cut copy delete etc.

just download it place it in the root of ur SD card and rename it as "recovery" (without quotes) thn install mobileuncle thn click on update recovery it ll search 4 the revovery.img thn it ll guide u through the same :good:

Nd also mediatek devices r virtually unbrickable
Nd no u won't lose ur data while this process
But it's better to keep a backup of the data using Titanium backup :good:

recovery is flashed in order to flash custom rom r som mods so u should use CMW as u preffer
and rooting ur device r updating the recovery shouldn't affect ur aplications
as u told tht the game is not running pls do check if the OBB file is missing r if something is corrupt

I downloaded real racing 3 from play store of 16 MB.When I open it it is stucked on EA logo .According ton other games it should let me download the SD card data.or if I flash recovery will it help me in these things??

flashing the recovery wont help you in these things
it s the games prob it has nothing to do with the recovery r rooting
it s not dowloading the data file so it s the prob of the game bro
